Chapter 13 - Not A Simple Woman

Before sunset Namara was back at the brothel. Verna who was standing in the doorway looked at her with a probing gaze. "Where have you been?"

"I ... just bought something to treat my scar," replied Namara. Fortunately, Verna didn't ask any more questions.

Namara immediately entered and hurried back to the room. When the door opened, she immediately saw Ananme standing on the window sill. The woman turned her head after noticing her return.

Ananme looked at Namara with a complicated expression. She didn't know what to say. Finally, Namara took the initiative to ask, "Are you feeling better?"

The woman nodded. "Thank you," she said in a low voice.

Namara shook her head. She sat on the edge of the bed and said, "We are from the same clan. I do not mind."

"Sorry, before I felt pressured so I must say or do something irrational to you," said Ananme who felt guilty. Previously she had pushed Namara and it made her feel bad.

"It is nothing. I don't mind that," said Namara honestly. Then she got up. "I need to shower now," she said.

Ananme nodded without saying anything else. She only watched the figure of Namara who left the room. Somehow she felt she had to have a good relationship with that woman.

Namara has arrived at the bathhouse. This time she needed a tub to soak in. Fortunately, there is a wooden tub that is large enough.

Namara quickly filled the tub with water. Then she took out the small box that Master Orsley had given her. Without hesitation, she opened it and immediately sprinkled the gray powder that was in the box onto the surface of the water.

When the powder touched the water, Namara could see a small eruption on the surface of the water. However, after that nothing happened. The powder seemed to just disappear. The water color didn't change either.

"Is that so?" Namara muttered to herself.

She decided not to use all of them. Half of it is left to use the next day. It would be better if she tried a little first to see how it affected her.

After everything was ready, Namara took off her clothes until only her underwear was left. Her feet stepped into the wooden tub filled with water. Maybe because it's getting late the water feels pretty cold.

The wooden tub was not high enough. Even when Namara sat at the bottom, the water level only reached half of her chest.

Slowly Namara scooped up the water and poured it on her back. When the water touched her scar it felt like it was burning, but it was tolerable. Does this mean the powder is working?

Namara doesn't know. She kept rubbing her back and pouring water again many times. The burning feeling started to lessen.

After feeling enough, Namara immediately left the water and wiped her body with the provided cloth. She was getting impatient. She immediately went to the room and showed her back to Ananme.

"Are there still scars on my back?" Namara asked.

"It looks vague. What is this wound? Whip marks? "

Namara cheered inside. It looks like the magic powder has worked very well. If she used it one more time the scar would completely disappear.

"Yes, whip marks," replied Namara.

At that moment, suddenly there was a knock on the door from the outside. Namara pressed the cloth which was the only covering of the body. Then she walked open the door.

Outside, Xanda was already standing waiting for her. It turned out that the woman had come to visit. "Xanda .... Come in," said Namara.

Xanda nodded then stepped inside. She immediately saw Ananme, a woman who had been the subject of gossip among other comfort women because she had succeeded in becoming Eros's sex slave.

"Ananme," said Xanda. "It's good to see you back."

Ananme smiled a little. She already knew Xanda so she didn't feel too embarrassed. "Xanda, I hope you are well here."

"Of course." Xanda smiled. Then she saw Namara who went to get clothes. From there she saw the scars on Namara's back that had started to fade.

Xanda was both surprised and surprised. Who has gotten rid of that scar? Did Namara get help from someone?

Even if she tried to pass out, she was sure she wouldn't be able to erase the scar. If there is someone who helps Namara it must be a great person.

Xanda felt a little curious, but she didn't ask. It's just that now she's starting to think, does Namara have an unusual identity?

She has no idea.

When Namara finished changing clothes, she got together with Xanda and Ananme. She wanted to get a lot of information from them, especially from Ananme who had already entered the Black Wings clan palace.

"Ananme, may I know what the situation is like in the palace of the Black Wings clan?" asked Namara carefully. She felt a little afraid that the woman would feel hurt again.

"If you feel here is hell, then there will be hell out of many hells," Ananme whispered.

"Honestly, during my stay there, I never left the room. Not even a minute," she continued. She sighed tiredly at the thought of herself being confined in a quiet and lonely room.

"I can't say much." Ananme lowered her head. She did not know what the exact situation was like in the palace of the Black Wings clan.

"Namara ...." Xanda suddenly called.

"Yes?"

"Why do you want to be Eros's sex slave so badly?" asked Xanda. She looked at Namara seriously.

However, Namara didn't tell what her true intentions were. She just wanted to keep this a secret.

"You will find out one day, Xanda."

Namara's answer made Xanda even more convinced by her guess. Somehow she looked, Namara was quite different from other women. From the looks of it ... that girl already looks too perfect.

Namara is not a simple woman at all.

***

Unlike the warm atmosphere in Namara's room, at this time in the other room, the air was very cold. Not because of the low temperature, but because of the aura of anger from an Eros.

The man sat on the chair with his fists tightly clenched. In front of him was a sheet of paper that was stained with red blood. The blood-covered part of the writing contained a sickening sentence.

"Lyco, things are getting clearer now, right? Are you still going to refute my guess?" Eros hissed without looking at the person he was talking to.

"I'm sorry, Sir. You are right," said Lyco who was Eros's, right-hand man.

"Did someone leak my secret?" muttered Eros. His eyes narrowed and the look on his face grew even more terrifying.

Lyco shook his head hard. "Impossible. I always keep a close eye on everyone."

Braak!

Eros thumped the table in front of him loudly. The table made of black marble immediately shattered. He glared intently at the surprised Lyco.

"Where do you think that person could suspect me if it weren't for you guys being careless?!" snapped Eros. He threw the bloody paper into the air. Black flames appeared on his palm which then immediately burned the paper.

Lyco looked down fearfully. He didn't dare to answer. Usually, if he answered, Eros would get even angrier. Especially if the answer is not what you want.

"Damn it!" Eros cursed.

"Alright. I'll try one more time. If he's still targeting me then I won't be quiet like a stupid frog!" growled Eros.

"Tomorrow ...," he muttered. "Tomorrow I will go to the brothel again. I already have a woman of my choice." A cold grin began to appear on his face.
