next day lucas was sitting on a table at the deck, eating breakfast alone. this time he haven't used his shadows to hide from others hence he was attracting a lot of attention. specially after last night's fight. others had realised he was an elemental strengthening stage cultivator from his fight, now he was having a headache from the buzzing going on around him.
"thank you for helping us yesterday" a voice came from behind him as Cleopatra and ballerina appeared in his vision.
"it was my duty" lucas replied nonchalantly as if it wasn't his business. he thought that the two girls would leave after this but they took a seat in front of him.
"i know my father sent you to keep me safe. i thank you for it but now i want you to leave. you will be paid completely just don't follow me" cleaoptra said directly.
she was the first princess of beast kingdom and the only child of her parents. though she wasn't weak her father was overprotective of her and hence her freedom was restricted. one such example was lucas. her father had hired him to keep her safe but she didn't like anyone following her other than her aide's!
"now that you know that your father have sent me then i will complete my quest and follow you till you get back to beast kingdom's palace. and if you think that i will leave just because you said so and paid me in full then you are mistaken my princess!" lucas glared at cleopatra clearly annoyed.
lucas have his own principles and he would follow them no matter what. and one of the principles was to complete the quest he had taken before the payment. even if he was paid before he would still complete the quest even if he have to die.
"you think you are worthy enough to refuse?" Cleopatra returned his glare.
ballerina who was feeling uncomfortable because of the tension between the two noticed faes approaching holding a girl in her arms and smiled.
"you are here! good morning, we were just waiting for you" ballerina immediately changed the topic bringing the two fighters attention towards faes who paused glancing at them.
faes who was going to meet the three didn't pause because of their tense and nervous attitude but because of a sudden sound in her mind and the notification.

faes glanced at lucas and Cleopatra as they recomposed themselves and glared at each other secretly, and bellerina who smiled nervously at her as if asking for help and sighed.
faes took a seat near lucas and had sky sit near her before she smiled at others
"good morning everyone. i believe we are yet to introduce ourselves; you can call me faes, this is my sister sky" faes introduced herself
"my name is cleopatra, you can call me cleo"
"I'm bellerina, you can call me belle"
the two girls introduced themselves before they turned to lucas who stared back at them.
"well what is your name?" belle asked after lucas continued to stare at them with a blank expression not bothering to introduce himself
"lucas" he replied before going back to his meal.
"look at yourself, how arrogant and annoying! cant you even introduce yourself properly?" cleo glared at lucas
"you talk as if i care?" lucas retorted
"at least be thankful to ms. faes who is also our savior"
"i am thankful to faes and we have already introduced ourselves yesterday"
"alright lets order our breakfast first before continuing" faes immediately stopped them before they began fighting again and belle gave her a thankful look.
lucas and cleo glanced at each other before snorting and looking away; a waiter took their orders after which sky tugged at faes sleeve
"big sister faes, are big brother lucas and sister cleo are going to fight? can i also watch them fight?" sky's words made cleo and lucas speechless and helpless as they glanced at the kid. they cant even shout at the young one because she looked so cute while asking it.
"well i am not sure about that, but i don't think they will right?" faes glanced at cleo and lucas who nodded
"what a pity! sky wanted to see a good fight after she missed the fight yesterday" sky sighed pouting before turning towards the food that was delivered to them. sky was in mystic fog castle resting while the sea creatures attacked the ship hence she missed the fight and only got to know about it from faes after waking up.
"what a lovely kid!" belle giggled finding sky amusing as she began talking with sky.
whereas both lucas and cleo blushed looking away. 'how embarrassing!'
faes who witnessed smiled knowingly, sky had inherited aiden's nature of pranking everyone and had been playing with blake hence she was quite unique and faes can understand completely how the two felt because she too have been through similar situations more than once.
"please forgive her she is a prankster thank to our brother's spoiling" faes apologized as they went back to eating
"ms faes, you are so strong can we have a fun spar together?" cleo asked changing the subject
faes smiled "sure"
"i would like to sit this one out; i am clearly not strong enough" belle sighed
"sister belle we can spar together if you want we are of similar cultivation realm" sky offered biting into a sandwich surprising the three.
"you are a king establishment stage cultivator? how old are you?" belle asked shocked. similar to faes they cant tell sky's cultivation because of faes hide zero hiding it though they can tell she was a dragon.
but they had assumed that sky was around five to six years old as she had transformed into a human with a low cultivation.
"sky is 2 years old king establishment stage 5 cultivator!" sky replied enthusiastically shocking the three again as they turned to faes who smiled at them patting sky's head fondly.
even she felt envious of sky's cultivation and age along with her intelligence sometimes; having someone share that feeling was most welcome.
"your sister is a real prodigy ms faes!" belle exclaimed
"that she is! my baby is unique"
"i would like to spar with you too!" luacs suddenly said to faes. it was common knowledge that if one was unable to read the cultivation of other that means two things- one that they have an articraft that hides their cultivation and other that they are much stronger than them.
he wanted to know which one was true for faes!
