the mana from the magic circle finally divided and one part began entering faes. others were not able to sense it due to the heavy amount of mana in the room but faes knew how dangerous the mana entering her body was.
faes continuously let the mana enter her body and saw that sky had stopped shivering and her pain had eased making faes sigh in relief though she was now more alert and cautious. she had done this to increase sky's chances of survival and her too! but the trial was going to happen and she would be a part of it now.
the mana entering her body was powerful and faes was still continuously forcing it to enter her body. when she reached her limit the mana began to hurt her and faes tasted blood in her mouth but she didn't stop. for both of their lives faes had to do this! she gritted her teeth and continued not caring about the blood flowing out from her mouth slowly.
robin who was standing near the wall of the room noticed faes and was alarmed. she nudged elijah and grayson standing near her and nodded in faes direction. when the other two saw blood flowing from faes mouth they panicked but didn't speak anything.
elijah nodded at robin who silently went near faes and began wiping the blood with a cloth while grayson moved closer to faes looking at everyone. he wasn't going to let anyone near her for the time being.
elijah silently went near blake who noticed his movement and frowned. elijah pointed in faes direction and when blake saw the blood flowing out from faes mouth his eyes widened.
blake finally concluded that something was wrong and focused on faes. he noticed the amount of mana entering her and traced its source. he stopped himself from screaming at faes and also from giving much of a reaction when he noticed that the mana was coming from the magic circle.
he didn't knew how and why the mana was entering faes instead of sky but it was doing her no good! blake didn't know what to do so he turned to adrian. adrian and nuri saw blake turning to him and noticed that blake seemed pale. blake nodded in feas direction and they turned almost shouting in alarm when they saw what was happening. this time they noticed the mana entering her body and blood flowing out of her mouth and frowned.
adrian stopped nuri from getting up and going to faes, it would just make the situation worse! they didn't know what was going on and why it was happening but they trusted faes enough to not do something rash. they were going to wait and see what happens and if it turns seriously dangerous they will interfere.
king ladon had long noticed what was going on and was frowning. still he didn't interfere with anything and just focused on sky and faes both.
the nobles who had not noticed what was going on till now had finally seen the slight movement of the royal family and their serious expressions. they were constantly looking at both faes and sky. the nobles followed their line of sight and saw blood leaking out of faes mouth as she was looking like she was in pain but was still focused on sky who was also in pain but wasn't shivering now.
the nobles all noticed the mana that was entering faes now and were alarmed though none of them moved in case faes snapped at them for disturbing again. they also realised that there is some problem which they had not realised before and they instead were worrying over what affinity princess sky had. they not only put princess sky in danger but also princess faes who was also receiving the mana somehow from the magic circle. but the problem was that none of them knew what had caused this to happen!
richard and few other nobles who were in oppose to princess sky and princess faes saw what was happening and frowned. this was not supposed to happen! if anything happened to them now then they will surely be questioned. if they were found out then- they knew they messed up and now can only hope that they were not found out!
faes was completely focused on the mana but had noticed everyone watching her. faes decided to ignore them for now but she was also thankful for robin to wipe the blood off and to other to not cause a commotion and disturb her.
she focused on the mana that had engulfed both her and sky now and was increasing its intensity. faes noticed robin frown and looking in pain. the mana was affecting her! faes didnt wanted others to get hurt so she took the cloth from robin and motioned her to move away as she was not able to speak due to the blood still flowing out from her mouth.
robin didnt wanted to go away but the mana again increased in intensity pushing her away from faes who had the cloth over her mouth and had began shivering now from pain.
sky had also began shivering as the intensity of mana increased though it was still just similar to before for her and was bearable. she can also feel faes pain and knew that faes was doing something to help her! sky's determination increased as she increased her focus and her body began to transform.
the mana engulfed her whole and began to help her morph. the bones began breaking and reforming while the tail began shrinking and her claws changed into limbs and fingers.
faes who was unable to transform due to being a human was currently also engulfed in the mana. the mana though not making her transform was doing some changes in her body. the scales that she had were being strengthened and her bones were turning stronger. her muscles were hurting due to the mana that had made them strong and burned the excessive fat. her hair had grown longer somehow due to excess mana and was turning shiny and smoother than before. her senses were increasing yet again rapidly and this all was giving her unbearable pain.
as the ritual continued and the mana gathered surrounding faes and sky, faes and sky began to vanish in the storm created by the mana. others were only able to see them being engulfed in the storm and had begun to worry.
the storm even began absorbing the mana in their bodies alerting them and the intensity of mana entering sky and faes body increased yet again.
this time both faes and sky were in too much pain that they were not able to stay silent.
two different screams sounded in the room making everyone stand from their seats alert and worried but they were able to do nothing! the mana around both faes and sky was blocking them from getting close. they had not known that there was a problem but now it was too late to realize that.
the screams were painful to hear! they had to cover their ears and move backwards as the storms increased yet again and forced them to move away.
faes and sky were screaming from pain but it only increased the storms engulfed the area the seats were. the chairs everyone was seated in broke and turned into dust, the weaker people in the room were sent flying in the wall from the force of the storms and also forced others to move backwards.
faes now on the ground curled in a ball just like sky and suddenly stopped screaming while the screams coming from sky also stopped alerting everyone but they were still unable to move close to either as the storm were still present also showing them that the two are still alive.
