the old man glanced at grinning faes and then towards the envelope in his hands. he just accepted to take her payment for the things. she was free to pay any amount but instead the little girl took out an envelope. this made the old shopkeeper confused!
he still opened the letter and began reading. as he continued his hands began to tremble and finally he glanced at faes again after reading the letter a few times. the letter was from aiden, telling him that the little girl who came to him was his adoptive daughter and was the person who he was supposed to give whatever she wanted. aiden also wrote about the method to unseal the restrictions he placed on the special thing they found.
what made the shopkeeper most stunned was the fact that aiden said the little girl had something similar to the necklace and knew what the thing was capable of along with its history. though he didn't told what it was but he was not going to ask any questions. he trusted aiden and the light trace of aiden's mana and his seal at the end of the letter were the proof of the authenticity of the letter.
"you are princess faes?" the old man asked to which faes nodded in return.
"i apologize your highness i didn't recognised you! please take whatever you want from the shop as a token for my apology" the old man was prideful but he still knew when to say what. most of the royals didn't liked people like him so he thought the princess though aiden's daughter would be the same. but oh how wrong he was
"no need to apologise to me you haven't done anything. and as for the token for apology there is no need for it when there is no offence! i will still like to pay for the things i got" faes said. she didn't liked when people thought she was spoiled bad mannered princess!
the old man heard what faes said and his eyes filled with tears. the little girl was really different from others! she deserve to get the nightlight! no wonder king aiden adopted her! she was a good person and probably strong. the old man cant tell what race faes was of but the sense of mystery around her was similar to aiden's and even more giving an impression that she was strong.
"his majesty told me to give you nightlight along with the method to unseal it, please wait while i bring it out" the old shopkeeper said to faes before going inside.
"your highness, what is nightlight? is it the thing that his majesty king aiden told you about?" elijah asked. they were silent because they felt guilty for not greeting first and looking down on someone. they had corrected their mistake and were silently listening to the conversation between the two. they were curious about this nightlight which seem to be the thing they originally came here to get.
faes stopped smiling as her face turned serious. she had began to trust the servants she have gotten but still not completely to tell them every detail. but now that they are here she have to tell them some things that might include her chocker which was hidden by hide zero.
faes was able to use hide zero on her race and accessories for whole day now and still have enough limit to use it for one hour completely. it was a skill that didn't used much mana but instead it have a time limit until it can be used. after using it on her race and other things she was only left with one hour more per day which she saved for emergencies. if she didn't hide her race and other things like her choker she might be able to use it for six hours.
"listen carefully what i am about to tell you is extremely important and confidential" faes said making the three turn serious and focus completely on her
"i have many things that are able to shock the world into chaos! one of the thing is nightlight. though i dont have it till now but it is a thing that if fell into wrong hands can destroy the whole world!" faes said making the trio's eyes go wide. the knew faes had many things hidden but to say that nightlight can destroy the world was too much wasn't it? though they were shocked they believed faes. she haven't lied till now and she wasn't a person who would joke about something like this.
when the three got over their shock they nodded in understanding and silently vowed to keep their master's secrets sealed forever until necessory.
faes turned back to the old man who was coming out holding a box in his hands. it was made of wood and looked normal like any other thing in the shop but faes can see the slight sparkling over the box.
the old man handed the box to faes who took it but didn't tried to open it instead after observing the box she glanced at him again.
"his majesty said that to unseal it you have to use a drop of his majesty's blood and make a magic circle with it then use your spiritual force and mana to unseal it"
faes nodded. she knew only aiden can unseal it and using his blood was the only way. she turned to the box and said to the system which was floating around her head 'system get me papa's blood'
[host i am unable to do that! i am still at a low level!] the system refused in a serious and offended tone.
faes just glanced at it and sighed. she have to do it herself. but how do she do that? aiden and luna's bodies were still in the special space system made for them and faes was not sure how to butcher them. 'he was my freaking father!'
now she needs aiden's blood to unseal this nightlight.
"excuse me" faes said placing the box on the table and going outside. when elijah grayson and robin tried to follow her she shook her head
"stay here" faes said making the others gulp and nod in fear when they saw her serious eyes.
faes turned and left the shop and soon vanished from sight.
