faes instantly became annoyed once her eyes fell on the new arrivals but she held her emotions inside not letting them show on her face. after all blake didn't had much idea about her powers and faes didn't plan to let him know anytime soon either.
'it will be best that i stay low' faes had decided before and she was going to stick to that.
the new arrivals were a group of teenagers about the same age as blake and they looked nobles too. they were dressed neatly in suits and had fine looks but blake looked better and not to mention kai he was on completely different level in looks.

"just our regular order and my answer of when you are going to be my girlfriend?" the leader boy called nickolas said and this made faes turn to him glaring in anger and irritation. 'now that's a playboy vibe!' faes was going to give them a nice lesson if they wont leave rosaline alone. the girl clearly looked uncomfortable and afraid from nickolas and wanted to be anywhere but there. faes didn't wanted a nice girl like rosaline to get hurt by a stupid noble just for their fun. but faes didn't moved because she sensed blake stiffen and clenching his fists in anger.
'he really seems to like rosaline!' faes noted and smiled 'is it love at first sight or he have seen her before hence he brought me here so that he can meet the girl? probably its the latter's faes remembered that rosaline and blake seem to know each other from before.
"i have already told you sir nickolas that we are no match! our status is different and a poor girl like me cant afford to accept to be your partner. you are young lord of this village and a noble while i am just a daughter of a inn keeper" rosaline replied.
nickolas who was smiling before was now smiling widely but it felt creepy even to faes. faes sensed blake grit his teeth and turned to look at him. 'oh boy someone's angry!' blake was really angry and scary currently, faes turned to sir nickolas and looked at him with pity 'if he tried anything blake will take care of him quite nicely' she thought.

a man who was probably in his early fourties came in the restaurant and saw the scene. he had similar features to rosaline and roxy so he should be their father, but once he saw what the commotion his face paled and he hurried to nickolas and kneeled beside him
"sir nickolas please spare my daughter, she isn't worthy to be your partner even for a moment!" he practically begged
"sir nickolas why are you being so hard set on this girl? i am sure you can get far better girls in the capital who are nobles too" one of nickolas friends said. there were total three boys in the group including nickolas and they all were looking at rosaline with lust even when they were not supposed to.
faes temper was rising both due to the loud noises and their talk. faes felt like her head was going to burst if they continued talking like that.
"yes my brother is right, you should choose a noble girl for yourself sir nickolas" the other friend agreed
"yes sir nickolas please listen to your friends and spare my daughter" rosaline's father also said but the words from the so called friends made his face change turning even paller.
"you should leave good girls with poor status for your servants like us"
"what? no- i mean my daughter is also not worthy of milords either! we are poor and my daughter is also just a child" rosaline's father said.
"that's clearly only your imagination, my lady have already had her coming of age ceremony she is an adult now i am sure she knows i am good for her" nickolas said trying to pull rosaline closer to him but was only making her try harder to get away.
faes was irritated and just as she was going to snap a notification arrived making her grin

specially nickolas who felt insulted on being called out like that and that too by a girl that was way younger than him! he was the young lord of this village! the village chief's heir and only son. his father was a noble of kingdom reptiliance and how can a little girl dressed in commoners clothes talk to him like that?
