faes and blake stared at the tv until the news was over. to blake it was quite normal when the media took notice of him and created news but to faes it was not normal at all. original faes laid low in the castle and rarely was allowed to go out even then the media ignored her and on earth faes was just a random non popular citizen so she had not made it in news at all! this was the first time that she saw a news on her own.
faes took some time to digest the information and suddenly felt glad that she bought the mask. at least her face will not be revealed giving her freedom to go around freely if wanted.
"don't worry about it too much little faes, its normal. people wont know its you unless you tell them, as they don't know where we went and neither they would think that we are royals" blake comforted faes who was silent sitting on the side. faes turned to blake with a pout and big eyes
"but its my first time that i was mentioned in news" faes said slowly uncomfortable
"dont worry it wont be the last" blake grinned at faes.
faes sensed that blake was thinking about teasing her and was already planning something that might make her stand out.
"i dont want to stand out! i would like to lay low until i am able to keep myself and sky safe." faes said to blake who was still grinning.
"but if you are going to stay with me then you are going to make it into news, you see i am quite famous for causing trouble" blake said
when faes heard him she remembered that blake was a prankster and a flirt but now she also realised that what he said was true. if he plays pranks he might also get into fights for them and hence ended up in news now and then for various reasons. if faes stayed with blake she will only be letting herself get the attention she was trying to avoid.
faes glanced at blake "big brother blake do you want this sister of yours to tell the king and queen about ms rosaline?"
when blake heard faes his grin dropped as he put on a serious expression. looks like his sister wasn't easy to tease but it was his own fault that he told her a big secret like this. blake sighed as he realised his mistake of letting faes know about his feelings for rosaline.
"i am not stopping you just dont let us get into news, not everyone know that i am a human and not a dragon" faes reminded. blake who clearly forgot that faes was a human suddenly realised the truth. if others knew that their first princess was a human they wont accept her right away. it might even create some trouble for faes and it will be best that she stay low.
blake nodded "dont worry i wont let you get in trouble because of me, and i will keep you safe if others knew that you are human and try to play tricks" blake assured faes just as there was a knock on the door.
"thank you" faes said before blake can say anything. blake just gave her a smile in return and called the person to enter.
faes knew that dragons were high and mighty creatures. they wont accept a human to rule them even when faes had no intention in the ruling. she would have to prove herself before they accept her as their princess but without aiden it was going to be a long time before they accept her.
faes had already thought about it and was still trying to process how to get out of this mess as not to provoke the nobles and commoners from kingdom reptiliance. this was also the reason she was using her hide zero to hide her race. to everyone she would seem like she was a dragon but they wont be able to tell her race clearly until she lets hide zero expose it.
"is the second prince of kingdom reptiliance supposed to run away without telling anyone where he is going? and that too without any bodyguards or security?" a voice brought faes out of her thoughts making her go alert. the aura the person who entered was powerful and intimidating, and also not everyone can talk like that to a prince.
faes glanced at the person who entered. golden hair and red eyes with a strong built body. he seem to be around twenty year old and was wearing a three piece suit along with a long sword hanging over his hip.
blake stared at the newcomer with wide eyes but his face held fear, faes wasn't able to relax as she and blake stood up.
"brother adrian! i didn't ran away i just followed the instructions uncle aiden gave me on the call! it was an emergency and i had to leave right away and was not able to tell anyone" blake said
adrian's angry expression changed into realization and his gaze settled on faes who had finished reading the scan she did on adrian while he was talking with blake. adrian was the first prince of kingdom reptiliance and the current heir to the throne.
faes bowed as adrian glanced at her
"greetings your highness crown prince adrian shadowdragon de reptiliance, hope we didnt worried you much. i apologize for the inconvenience caused due to us" faes said in a monotone. she was not relaxed as she was with blake or kai maybe because she just met adrian and didnt know him.
adrian nodded before he turned back to blake with a questioning look
"ah! i apologize i forgot to introduce, brother adrian they are our younger sisters, uncle aiden's daughters princess faes and princess sky" blake said then turned to faes
"and this is our big brother adrian as you seem to know" blake smiled
"hold on uncle aiden's daughters? but if you dont mind me asking princess faes you are around ten years old. please clear this misunderstanding of mine" adrian said as he frowned. faes sighed internally 'this again!'
"no problem your highness, its true that i am ten years old, papa; king aiden adopted me and took me in as his daughter a year and half ago and since then he trained me as his disciple and daughter. sky here is his real blood daughter but we both are bonded by a soul contract and are closer than normal sisters" faes said. she let them know about the soul contract because it seem like it would make them believe in her more and sky was still sleeping in her arms peacefully.
adrian heard what faes said and nodded. he then sighed talking a seat while blake and faes followed. even they way both the boys sat screamed they were royals making faes remember that she was a royal too now and have to behave like one.
"brother adrian there is also some important news which cant be discussed here" blake said with a serious face once they were sitting
adrian glanced at him and nodded after sometimes
"we will talk after lunch back in the castle"
"along with royal father and mother, they need to know too its not a small matter. the matter concerns the whole kingdom" blake said
adrian glanced at faes who nodded and then accepted.
"my butler will set an appointment with father and mother we will go and meet them after lunch" adrian nodded just as their food arrived. the waiters surprisingly bought lunch for adrian too probably already ordered before entering the room. faes blake and adrian ate before they left to go to the palace.
