Chapter 57 - dragon village: aquarin

soon faes blake and sky arrived at the village. blake had changed his clothes from the shirt and pants made os some special material to a casual t shirt and jeans and also removed the royal identity ring and also asked her to do the same.

faes knew that being a royal was a pain so she didn't asked and changed into something casual that wont give them away as they were royals. faes even covered sky's head with a handkerchief so that her crystals are not visible. afterall having this many elemental crystals and that too over head was too eye catching and rare.

they didn't kept their weapons away as it would be suspicious that they were travelling in the forest filled with beast without any kind of weapons.

when faes entered the village she stuck close to blake as she didn't knew her way around and didn't wanted to get separated, even when she can sense him in case they get separated faes didn't wanted to let blake out of her sight. she felt safe around him and in an unknown place it was best that she and sky stick close to someone older than them who knew their way.

blake also noted faes's movement but didn't point it out because he was going to ask her to do the same anyway. dragons were proud and powerful but not all of them were nice to kids and unknown people. and faes was a human no less!

faes looked around at the houses that were just like normal houses though slightly bigger and were mostly one or two-storied. the few shops and a small adventurers guild office along with a small school and hospital were also present. blake told her that the main market was on other side

of the village and they would go there some other time after resting as when they arrived it was almost time for sunset.

'this place can pass for a well maintained and advanced town but due to low population, it's still a village' faes thought as she looked around.

"we will get a room in the inn where we can also eat dinner and rest for tonight" blake told faes who nodded in return. faes was thinking of buying a few things from here but she neither had money nor the idea what was better so she didn't asked to stop at the shops they passed 'and they will go to market later'

'it will be better if i had better idea about things and more money points' faes signed inwardly.

when they got to the inn they were greeted by a lady who looked young. she had brown hair tied in a low bun and brown eyes, she looked like she was about thirteen years old but was beautiful.

"welcome to our inn again sir blake, is see you brought some lovely girls with you" the lady greeted them.

"welcome to our inn i am owner roxy" a small voice said taking faes attention to the girl with similar features sitting nearby, she looked similar to rosaline but she cant be her daughter as roxy seem to be six years old. faes knew that the dragon children to turn into human they must be either five years or at a certain cultivation level and it only made sense that roxy was six according to faes calculation.

"hello miss rosaline, miss roxy! we would like two rooms for a night, one for me and one for my sisters and it would be better if they are close to each other" Blake said with a smile.

"sure we have two rooms next to each other Roxy would show you the way there, you can pay when you leave. a room for one night is fifty points and dinner is not included" rosaline replied.

blake nodded and gave rosaline faes and sky's names and age before Roxy took them upstairs to their rooms that were at the end. the place was good with a classic theme and had plants everywhere giving it a homely feeling. on the way, roxy told them many things about her and the inn. this place had a restaurant on the ground floor while rooms on the first floor. roxy and rosaline's mother cooked the food while their father took care of the cleaning and tidying up the place along with rosaline. roxy was small so she was still helping rosaline learning from her to be a better waitress. roxy was rosaline's sister but rosaline was calm and sweet while roxy was talkative and cute.

faes didn't speak a word the whole time and silently listened to roxy speaking in her childish voice along with blake. faes felt tired just by listening to roxy speak but then again she was still just a child while faes was mentally grown up.

"these are your rooms just ring the bell if you need anything" roxy said before running away.

"she sure talks a lot doesn't she?" blake asked smiling while faes nodded agreeing.

"then we should get settled if anythings wrong just holler i am right next to you" blake patted faes and sky's head before he entered his room and left them to get in theirs.

the room had a bed, table, a wardrobe and a bathroom but it was simple and elegant, the walls were coloured light blue and the room too had plants around. faes and sky were clean and they were also not tired so they played around until blake called them for dinner.

when they went downstairs they went to the restaurant taking seats as roxy and rosaline appeared near them. the place had other guest but they were not enough to fill the whole place. it was quite and just enough for faes to not freak out. her senses were highly sensitive and she can hear everything around her. in the forest it was fine as there were just few noises that disturbed her but here people moving around and other sounds all were present and that were driving her crazy.

faes had been leaving out the voices ignoring them but then again she cant control them completely as they were just too much! she was glad that there were fewer people in here so she can eat quietly.

"what can we get you today sir blake?" rosaline asked slightly blushing

"some beef and wine along with something of your choice for me miss rose and you look beautiful" blake said supporting his head with his hand and elbow on the table. he had a lazy smile on his face and the lighting around had casted a shadow over his eyes giving him a dreamy look. faes almost chocked on the water she was drinking when she saw blake flirt with rosaline. he looked so cool and handsome just now that even faes was affected, but she held herself and just glanced at blake.

apparantly blake also knew rosaline and this was not his first time doing it if he can go smoothly like that.

faes had known blake was a prankster but he was also good at flirting? she just knew that detail. faes turned towards rosaline who was now blushing till her ears turned red and rolled her eyes, 'girls!'

blake was about fourteen years old and rosaline was thirteen they suited each other! faes just hoped that blake wasn't a playboy and hurt girl's heart. but even then she didn't had any right to speak in their personal life.

"i would like a soup, any kind of meat dish and juice with something sweet please, thank you" faes said with a smile. sky was sleeping in her lap, after playing she was tired so faes gave her milk for dinner and then sky went to sleep. faes didn't wanted to leave her alone hence she brought her here afterall sky was still not able to move around on her own properly.

"sure i will just get your order, i hope you like our food" rose replied still blushing and left with roxy following after her.

faes turned to blake narrowing her eyes. blake noticed faes expression and found himself blushing. damn! he forgot that he was with his sisters!

"just forget anything you saw or heard alright, i was just praising her looks! we are old aquintances of each other" blake blushed and picked glass of water to hide his face from faes.

faes smiled but didn't teased him further. 'he didn't seem like a playboy, a playboy wont blush when caught like that' faes thought as she turned to look at the new guest that entered the place making loud noises.
