faes ate till she was full then she continued her training. aiden left her alone for now as he wanted her to practice by herself, he began to watch the news while faes went to train.
'princess faes is still missing, it is said that she was kidnapped by someone because of her special abilities and the royal guards and knights are still to find any information on her'
when aiden heard this news he frowned and focused on the news. a picture of faes was shown but it was slightly different from the current faes. the girl in the picture was wearing a pink frock with her hair freely flowing and was looking more like a spoiled girl then a princess.
aiden shook his head as he realised that what faes told him when meeting for first time was true. 'i prefer the chrrent faes who wears decent clothes for each occasion and have proper manners. there is heaven and earth difference between both faes even if someone saw them now they wont recognize her' aiden thought then continued listening
'whoever gives information regarding princess faes location and her abductor can contact the royal guards of kingdom altai or the first princess of kingdom altai princess nia. if the information turns out true and help in finding the princess then the person would be rewarded accordingly.'
the news continued but aiden ignored the other unimportant things.
he was thinking of asking faes about this and if she would like she can go to her parents he wont mind as he knows what it feels like to loose one's kid he can understand what the royal family was feeling.
'she at least needs to talk to them once'he decided that if faes does not want to return then he would contact the king and tell him that he is taking care of his daughter.
in the training room
faes unaware of what was happening began her practice. she was going to create her skills according to her level and abilities.
but she had decided to use a skill from the scrolls aiden gave her as the skill seemed better than what she had in mind. it was a movement technique and a great one.
the name of the technique was void steps. it wasnt a teleportation spell but even better.
in this technique the cultivator has to learn a set of footwork which allows them to create a void space around them using their mana and then their movements begins to vanish for the others around them. the higher the movement of legs the better the void and the less mana it uses. it was like space time magic but not at the same time.
faes learnt the movement of feet first then practiced it slowly. when she did the steps without any mostakes she began to increase the speed and then practiced in it. it was late at night when aiden came as he realised that faes was still training.
"faes stop for today and go to sleep" aiden said just as he entered but he stopped frowning when he saw that faes wasnt in the room. 'wait she is here but moving constantly' aiden realised that faes was indeed in the room but she was constantly moving. this discovery made him thrilled as he followed the trail her mana left behind. her movements were not great but for someone who began to train the technique it was again astonishing.
faes came to a stop as she felt that till now her mana was about to get exhausted. she was panting hard but she had a happy smile on her face. she was able to maintain the movement for more than an hour before her mana went out. it was better than when she began after dinner. in first she was only able to use it for few minutes then for half an hour and now for more than an hour.
aiden shook his head and approached faes who sat down to rest.
"even though that was amazing you have to stop now its late at night and you have to sleep, you are still a 9 year old" aiden scolded faes who smiled sheepishly at him
"okay papa i'm tired now too this void steps technique really exhausts both mana and energy." faes replied as she fell back laying down clearly she does not have energy to even get up. aiden shook his head again and picked faes up in his arms.
"huh? i can walk by myself" faes said turning red in embarrassment as aiden saw through her.
"yes but i prefer to carry you, really you are so tiny and soft that if i use even little strength you would break down" aiden even clicked his tongue as he began to carry her upstairs.
"i am not tiny i have just not grown yet" faes huffed but still held aidens shirt for support in case she falls down.
"oh you are now just sleep and dont exhaust yourself this much that you cant even get up. remember that you have to save some of your mana and energy in any case turn them into small bundles and use them one by one. this way you wont get exhausted and can also take your enemy by surprise when he would think that you are weak they will let their guard down and it will give you a chance to take them by surprise and win easily, this will also save you from dying" aiden told as he helped faes remove her shoes and tucked her in bed.
faes felt warm that she had someone who truly cared about her this much. even though she was feeling emotional she didnt let it show on her face and nodded
"i wont do it again" she said and finally aiden smiled
"good night baby tomorrow we have some thing we need to talk about" aiden then kissed her forehead and left her wondering what he was talking about. she then went to sleep even though she can go to her space she was tired way too much.
'i really should not exhaust myself as papa told me it will really help me in future'with that thought faes went to sleep.

next day after breakfast aiden and faes were sitting in the living room drinking tea and coffee as aiden wanted to talk about something with her.
"what is it papa you seem serious" faes asked
"faes i know that you ran away from your home as you told but they think otherwise, they think you were kidnapped, watch this" aiden said and then played the news he saw yesterday on the tv. aiden knew he needed to show this to faes so he had recorded the news. while the news was playing he watched faes and her reaction.
faes was dumbfounded as she heard what aiden said and then watched the news focused and amused. from her memory it was clear that she left a note saying she left to get stronger and unlock her abilities but it seemed like either they didnt got that letter or were not accepting that she ran away. this made her frown, why were they doing it did they not find out how she was treated and what she wanted.
faes due to being in the princess body knew that the princess wanted to be loved but they all spoiled her instead of loving her they gave her gifts and left her alone. when the maids stole something and she complained they would just replace it instead of solving the issue.
due to their behavior faes was upset with them and just because of this she havent contacted them, well also because her watch was broken and she didnt had time to fix it yet.
"you want me to contact them?" faes asked aiden after she heard what the reporter have to say. aiden saw her anger and realised that he didnt knew her full story. there must be something they did that caused the previous faes to run away like that.
"yes but if you dont want then i wont force you" aiden told her in a soft tone
"its not like that but as i didnt had a family in my past life i used to look at other children who have parents and then often thought about how my parents would have been. loving caring but strict and not to the spoiling level. they would give me what i want, not what they think i want. when i transmigrated here and got the memories i realised that even the original faes wasnt close to any member of the family and because of that i decided that before i go to them i will make sire they realise what they have done wrong as i dont want an unloving family. i prefer that i stay alone instead of being surrounded by people who dont care about me" faes told aiden what she wanted as she really thought of him as her father
"and i already have a father who loves me a lot " she smiled at aiden who gave her a look of pity which she didnt liked but was unable to do anything about.
"so you dont want to contact them yet?" aiden asked
"i will contact them when i am ready to make them surrender if not by love then by force" faes stared in aidens eyes to show him that she was serious and aiden realised that. he nodded then told her his decision
"then i will contact them, i know what it is like to lose your child and loved ones so i dont want them to suffer through that pain. i wont tell them where you are and what you are doing i will just inform them that you are safe and will return when you want"
