Alex woke up early the next wanting to look for healing items or food.
He walked back to lake and continued to look around the area, after about an hour of looking Alex decided he was going to use his ability,he asked for it and the following appeared in front of his face.
Which would you prefer?
Be extremely lucky for a day
Be very lucky for a month
or
Be lucky for 6 months
With much thought Alex decided to go for the second option.
Alex:"Being extremely lucky might seem good but it was only for 1 day and there's no guarantee that people would come pick us up tommorow and I could possibly run into a high level Pokemon with High potential,and for the third one the duration might be long but the luck is low compared to the others while the middle on is a balance between both, so I think the second option is best."
After choosing what he wanted the screen in front of him disappeared, he expected something to happen but nothing did, shrugging he continued to look around this time going farther out, but luckily this time he found some it was a grotto filled with berries that was not guarded by a Pokemon .
"Yes!"He yelled with excitement but quickly covered his mouth not wanting to alert any nearly Pokemon, acting quickly he picked the berries of the tree that he needed taking as much as he could in his pocket, before quickly running away and this was the right call because right after he heard the cry of a Pokemon.
Reaching back to the cave Alex was out of breath he ate a couple of Oran berries to replenish his strength and to cure his hunger."
Alex:"It may tastes bland but I have to save the rest for emergencies."
Alex took up the Pokeball from the cave wall he had left it there when he was searching for berries since he wanted to carry back as much as he possibly could.
Taking a deep breath Alex released croagunk.
When it came out it appeared to be sleeping, sighing Alex left two Sitrus for croagunk to eat and went out drink some water after he came back he saw that crougunk was awake and healthy after a quick check with scan, he expected it to attack but it didn't
Crougunk's POV
"Where am I and why am I in a cave?"
"The last thing I remember was hunting with my friends when those stupid poocheyan's started to chase us I managed to escape at one point but that human caught me."
"Is that why i'm here was it because of that human?"
"Sitrus berries did that human leave these for me?"
Croagunk took up the berries and started munching on them.
"At least he's kind unlike the cruel people my mother talked about"
"Buy I don't want him to be weak and wimpy either nor be too prideful."
"If he manages to get close to me and is not too arrogont I'll consider being his Pokemon if not then I'm running away."
Alex's POV
Alex walked up to the croagunk with caution although he had it's Pokeball and some Pecha berries to cure potential poisoning from the croagunk it could possibly dodge the Pokeball, and he also had limited Pecha berries and unlike in the games Pokemon had no PP meaning they could use a move alot of times.
Alex edge closer and closer to croagunk neither one of them taking there eyes of each other.
Alex closed his eyes reached out his hand to pet it when he felt something come intact with his hand, opening his eyes Alex saw that he was petting the crougunk.
Alex:"Hey there little guy i'm not gonna hurt you."
Alex slowly move his hand towards his pocket now wanting to frighten it and took out an oran berry presenting it to the croagunk it took the oran berry from Alex and started munching on it with glee.
Alex:"So you like oran berries huh?"
"Croagunk! Croagunk!" it shouted
"Well then do you want another one ?" Alex asked, happy he was getting along well with croagunk.
Croagunk furiously nodded his head yes.
Alex:"Well then here you go."
The two sat there in silence eating some berries when they were finished Alex turned around to look at croagunk.
Alex:"Croagunk I wanted to know."
Croagunk also turned around to look at Alex.
Alex:"Will you become my Pokemon?"
