We stood in front of my house for about half an hour. Since it was probably 5 or 6 o'clock, there was no one besides us in the street. I never thought Robin could cry like this, and he seemed genuine, so I didn't say anything until he claimed down.
"A question. No, two questions! Who are the people that are actually worried about me? Except you... I can't seem to believe you, but don't cry!! I'll have to get used to your this side, OK? And the second one is... I'll ask you later!"
"What kind of question is that? Obviously you're parents and teachers and your neighbours! I saw them crying really hard, thinking you might have died or something! They tried so hard to find you, called the police and top investigators to find you!" - He said with his regular pissed off voice. Honestly, I feel less awkward when he talks like he did before... you know if a tiger suddenly behaves like a cat, anyone will be awkward...
"My parents! Wow, I just can't believe it!" - I said with a fake exclamation expression. They literally beat me up every day, telling me I'm a nuisance to them and make me do all the chores... how on earth will I believe if someone says my abusers were crying and worried because of my disappearance.
"It's your parents! Of course, they'll be worried if their child's missing for three weeks!"
"Do you think I don't know that!? My parents are not like the others. They never showed me an ounce of love ever since I was born, always reminding me I was the bad luck to my family. Oh shit, I shouldn't have told you that. Keep that a secret. I don't want others to know this!"
"I will keep it secret, but I don't think they were faking it. I don't know anything about them, so I should not judge. You should go home now and make sure to get a check-up. As much as I want to know where and how you have been, I believe your parents are thinking about that more than I do. I hope you'll understand them."
"Wait! I have a lot to ask but... just give me your number. I'll text you. If you feel a bit of shame and empathy towards me and want me to forgive you, you'll have to tell me everything that happened when I was gone and don't you dare tell anyone that we're in contact. Got it!"
"O-Ok, Here's my number! I promise to not tell anyone about you and me!"
