As told, I held onto him previous to when he snapped his fingers, making our bodies emerge to be in a leafy paradise which was densely covered with trees, shrubs, grasses and mosses. A surrendering aroma of the natural asset that cascaded all around the sublime forest quite attracted my inquisitiveness.
I removed my hands from his waist and asked, "Where are we? Is it a forest you wanted me to see?"
"Not really. Well let me lead the way."
"My pleasure." I smiled and he held out his hand for me to hold it and then we set off to go to god knows where.
He stopped in between and raised his index finger up in midair. He twirled his index and middle fingers together formulating a small glowing sphere and then shoot it in front. Promptly, one side of a group of trees with yellow leaves moved sideways and we could see a path leading to a far-away house. As we forwarded towards it, I noticed an enormous bizarre flower but left its sight anyway.
Soon enough we set foot in the peculiar house. He gesticulated with his hands and eyes meaning as a permission to roam through it.
It was like a regular house with tall clean white walls, crumbling rock floors with thin shag carpets. Casper seemed to be out of sight but that didn't surprise me again. I perceived the staircase and climbed up touching the banister that curved up to the second floor . But the scene wasn't much of my supernatural expectation. The room was similar to the others but vacant with no furnitures. At the right side was a door that could almost accumulate an elepahant!
Curiously, I went to open the door but it was latched close. More like magically closed. As I thought, a translucent screen with a keyboard appeared which was probably for the password. I looked around to see if Casper was here but nowhere to be found. I didn't really bother to look around and turned to the door. I couln't resist my temptation to see what's behind the door. But the password was the thing that stopped me. My mind rolled over the possible words and there wasnt really anything I knew about him ecept the nicknames he loved to give me. And as far as I remember , his one of his missions included me.
Grudgingly, I typed his nickname for me in the air-screen-thing , being 99% certain it wasn't gonna work. And it didn't. Somehow the thought of writing the word backwards came up and I used it. Well, how stupid was I to think my name would be someone's password?
I mentally slapped myself and later heard a chuckle from behind.
"You know , you don't have only one name."
"Wha-what do you mean?"
"Reccy is adorably perfect but that's not your real name."
I made an 'o' realizing to what he meant. Awkwardly, I wrote 'Rebecca' andpeeped behind to only see Casper standing and waiting for his cue to enter the door that had just opened.
The room was dark coloured with teal-brown shades and velvet drapes framed the windows with inner curtains drawn, not permitting the daylight to enter. Some parts of the walls held beautiful gilded mirrors.
Several bookcases in rows with some sort of arrangement in the room which were neatly stocked with dusted novel-like books.
"It looks like the room is served as your private library, is it Casper?"
"Library of Enlightenment. The books in here aren't quite normal but resourceful. But the most vigorous entity in here is beyond the books."
He motioned me to follow him and we were going through with bookshelves all around. It almost seemed like a labyrinth of books. After some time, we happened to reach in an open place but surrounded with the bookshelves in rows. In the middle was a small table.
Once again, he used his hand magic to make a maroon box appear in the table and proceeded to open it from the top. And there it was safely kept.
A pseudo-one-dimensional and brilliantly glinting diamond was shown underneath the box. I kept gazing at it as if being hypnotized by the entity.
"It is what keeps us alive, and can also keep us dead if not taken care properly."
I then averted my gaze and turned to inquire, "What are you exactly implying on?"
"If destroyed , the world of spirits can come to an end. Which surely will, but until a given time."
"What time?"
"The predicted time when all paranormal things will be endeth from this universe."
"Ow...kay, well I have a load of questions."
"You sure do."
"Why doesn't all humans know about this? Since when did spirits began to exist? Who killed you? What killed you? And what happens in your world? How many of you are there? What other types of spirits exists? Is it like the multiuniverse gobbledygook?" I paused to take a breath from all the rush of questions.
"Ow...kay, well I have not too much of answers." He said matching with my previous statements, "Okay so, we don't prefer to tell all the humans about our existence because we don't want them to keep away from their regular normal life and anyway why worry about something that will fade away at the end, " I parted my lips to say but he interrupted, "Spirits existed since the last 300 thousand years but they had only one crucial intention-"
"That is?"
"You might not wanna know that_"
"But I do Casper!"
"Yeah, but we don't want you to know that, " he lowered his head but quickly changed the topic, "So answer for your next question is...I don't know who killed me but I know what. That is one of the Delirus Daemones. One hit from their Gladius in the neck can turn any human being into a categorized spirit."
"But why would they do that, like to increase the spirit population?"
"Haha no. Well about that, none of us know and I can't really afford to read the books about it." I didn't really understood about what he said but it didn't seem anything to be bothered about as well.
"I can't really tell you what happens in my world but no, it is not the parallel universe gobbledygook. And until now there are only 6 Solo Archangelic Spirits, including me."
"Where are the others?"
"Charlotte, Marcus, Lila, Liam and Trevor are the others but I don't know about all their locations." He said, while roaming around the place. I nodded, with my scrutiny still towards my other confusions but I decided to stop the questions for then.
Out of nowhere, he appeared in front of me and took my hand in his.
"Look Reccy, there are things that I was not supposed to tell you but I did, cause I trust you. And I know you won't break that trust." Even in his red eyes, I could see his trust for me and with that I swore in my heart to never break his trust. Never.
We both plastered a smile on our faces before he stated, "And ya know? I'm the lucky one here. The only spirit to read minds. Other than astral projection, enhanced senses, invisibility, regeneration and telekinesis, every solo archangelic spirit has an extraordinary power. And mine is to read minds , mostly of the one I chose. Don't know about the others though." He shrugged and I pursued my lips, trying to apprehend the supernatural information, "But I can't do that only in the days after first quarter of the moon in every month. LOL typical." He completed.
Which meant that in that month of October, on the days after 13th, I would be free from his mind captivation, no offense though.

While heading back from the 'special' diamond, I came across a large rusty book on the ground with a much captivating title named, 'L'udí Proti Sialený Démonov.'
Not knowing the language, I puffed out my chest in frustration and picked up the book to keep it in a the right side bookshelf.
But somehow in somewhere of my mind, it felt like there was something about that book. But what?
