Nessa couldn't understand this Chris guy. He was dangerous and she was told to stay off him, but then, she keeps seeing him everywhere even when she doesn't want to - well, she was quite grateful he appeared today. And though Damon claims Chris might try to hurt her to get at him, Nessa had this feeling he wouldn't.
She doesn't know Chris that much but It was too petty of him. If Christopher wanted to have vengeance on Damon, it would be on a larger scale. However, for someone who wanted revenge on Damon, why did he help her? Why did he help them?
Christopher could have left Damon alone to deal with the gangsters and he would have been injured gravely. That would have satisfied him, Nessa bet that. But then, he chose to fight with them, no, he fought for them - he took out more of the members than Damon did - and won the fight for them.
