Chapter 48 - Ego Death

The christmas lights flashed off, green and red, slowly, changing the whole scenery of the bar. The strange and frightening feeling was creeping its way back up Rachel's back, something about this whole situation still didn't feel right. Despite everyone talking and appearing to have a good time, Rachel couldn't hear a single thing that was coming out of any of their mouths, the bar fell completely silently, then it happened.
