Accelerando: accelerating; gradually increasing the tempo.

That afternoon, no one knew what made Yang Liu immediately drag Zhou Yongliang to follow him right after the bell rang.
Of course, the scene drew a huge question mark on the heads of Ren Weisheng, Chen Guangli, and Huang Bo. Even the three students did not have time to react to save Zhou Yongliang.
"Hey! Where are you taking me?" Zhou Yongliang rebelled, but Yang Liu didn't budge.
Zhou Yongliang looked left and right, and he just realized that Yang Liu was taking him to the motorbike parking lot.
The taller boy immediately flung Zhou Yongliang's hand as soon as they got near his black motorbike. "I will take you home," he said coldly.
"Huh? You will take me home? You don't have to do that, Yang Liu. I live far from here. Usually, I took the bus and the subway. I can go home—"
The words were interrupted as Yang Liu grabbed his arm again. "Didn't you hear me? I said I will take you home."
Zhou Yongliang was silent for a moment. "But, you only bring one helmet," he said later.
"It doesn't matter. I know the shortcut." Yang Liu got on his motorbike and put on his helmet. "Hurry up and get on."
Zhou Yongliang finally chose to obey before the cold guy got angry. Reluctantly, the brown-haired student got on Yang Liu's black motorbike.
After Zhou Yongliang sat behind him, Yang Liu immediately brought his bike to leave the school area.
Neither Zhou Yongliang nor Yang Liu noticed that in the front yard of the school, Ren Weisheng, Chen Guangli, Huang Bo, and Hwang Jihyuk stared at them cluelessly.
"Where did Yang Liu want to take Zhou Yongliang?" Ren Weisheng started to panic.
"Since when was Zhou Yongliang close to Yang Liu?" This time, it was Chen Guangli who asked.
Huang Bo chose to ignore his two friends' questions and focused on paying attention to his brother's expression. He didn't understand. Why did his brother look angry? Ah, no. His brother not only looked angry but also scared. What was the matter with him?
Meanwhile, at the same time but in a different place, Zhou Yongliang was puzzled when he realized that Yang Liu's motorbike was not on the road that he usually took by bus. Yang Liu did say that he was going to go through the shortcut, but somehow his feelings told him that he was currently not moving to his residence.
"Yang Liu!" Zhou Yongliang shouted slightly so that Yang Liu could hear his voice. "Where are we going? I have never been this way before!"
But, to his dismay, Yang Liu didn't respond. The black-haired student continued to drive his motorbike through the streets between tall buildings, which were very deserted, hardly any vehicles were passing through the narrow road.
Suddenly, Yang Liu accelerated even more, and Zhou Yongliang reflexively brought his hands to grab Yang Liu's waist.
"Yang Liu! I don't want to die young!"
Yang Liu only smirked at the protest of the guy who was holding on his waist scaredly. He smiled secretly as he felt Zhou Yongliang's hand gripping his waist even though it was not too tight. The hands were not circling the stomach but only holding his waist.
Yang Liu's motorbike finally arrived at the luxury apartment area in the Wudaokou neighborhood. Zhou Yongliang gaped as the black motorbike smoothly passed through the gate, then moved all the way to the basement.
"Since when did my rent house move to such a luxurious place?" Zhou Yongliang mumbled a moment after Yang Liu's motorbike completely stopped at the parking lot. He got off the motorbike and glared at the taller boy; he demanded an explanation.
"I live here." Those three words left Yang Liu's thick lips.
Hearing the short answer, Zhou Yongliang's eyes lit up. "Are you taking me to your house? You are so nice, Yang Liu! I can finally play the piano ag—"
"That's only in your dream!" Yang Liu's quickly cut Zhou Yongliang's ramble. "I will just get changed, then we will go to your house by subway. Just wait here and don't go anywhere."
Zhou Yongliang was still in such a disorganized state that he simply let Yang Liu go. He was left alone at the deserted parking lot.
As soon as he realized that Yang Liu had disappeared, he then shouted, "Damn you, vampire! Why did you leave me alone?"
Yang Liu heard the shout, but he only beamed a little and didn't have the intention to go back to the young boy. He quickly got into the elevator and patiently waited for the silver object to bring him to his unit.
Once the elevator stopped at the floor he had chosen, he quickly walked out of it and marched toward his unit.
He was about to open the door with his key, but a sudden realization hit him. "Why am I acting like this? Why did I take Zhou Yongliang with me? What's happening to me?" He mumbled confusedly in front of his door.
It looked like he just realized that his action today was totally not normal. He did anything just by instinct and without thinking. His instinct told him that he wanted to get closer to Zhou Yongliang, so he did that. But, he forgot the logic that told him to stay away from the brown-eyed student. It was weird. He was totally not himself this afternoon.
"But, what should I do now? I've brought him with me, so it's impossible to just kick him away," once again he mumbled in confusion. After contemplating for a while, he finally made a final decision. "Just for today. I will get close to him just for today," he declared as he opened his door with his card key.
He stepped into his apartment unit and threw his backpack to the couch. He was about to enter his bedroom when his phone inside his pants pocket suddenly vibrated. He reached out to his pocket and fished out the smart object. He looked at the screen and frowned when he found his best friend's name appeared on it.
