In her pain, she had wanted everything to stop, but she never realized that time wouldn't allow that. She couldn't have everything she wanted and that reality was hitting her in the worst of ways.
She could either be Alex's enemy or Alex's love. But she couldn't be both. That was the grand lesson Lia had learned today.
She watched helplessly as her siblings worked together to patch Alex up. It was something out of a horror movie and she was helplessly watching, with nothing to say other than the fact that she didn't want her to die.
