"What is your current relationship with Alexander Garner?"
When the question came through, everyone expected Lia to lose her cool, but she had done this more times than she needed to. She was used to this question and while she wished to close that chapter, she knew there were reasons that this kept popping up. So she would answer them.
"Alexander Garner means nothing to me," Lia said, her tone emotionless and could you'd think that she was glaring at Alexander right now. Her tone even shocked her siblings, especially since they knew she was so much in love with the man.
However, maybe this was Lia's first step to recovery. Maybe this was her chance to start over. She had her family members. She didn't need anyone, at least not until she was done with her revenge or fight for justice.
