The chess table was set up at the right side of the hall's long dining table.
Kristov, being cheered on by the officials, built up his confidence. He thought of Ezekiel like a small fry, although he gave a friendly smile as a facade.
"Let us have a good battle," Kristov said as he shook hands with his cousin.
"Yes, good luck." Ezekiel responded. The two of them sat down on their respective seats.
Fredric explained as he sat at the side, "Since I was the one who suggested this, I shall oversee this match… Let's begin!"

Kristov blocked the pawn by moving the pawn opposite it. He also moved in two squares.
