King Adam knew Ezekiel would not have an advantage over a sword fight. He shook his head, "No, I don't think it's a good idea-"
"Yes, that's great! It's a great suggestion, Prince Kaio!" It would be a big chance for his son not to be chosen. Ely wanted to grab this golden opportunity!
Prince Kaio raised his brow, wondering if he said the right thing. Why was Ely very happy about it? What if Ezekiel was actually good in his swordsmanship?
"Very well… If Ely says so," King Adam then decided that the two boys' duel would take place in the training grounds after a month.
And with that, the assembly and feast ended. Everyone started moving out of the room. The King, Ely, Prince Kaio, and Ezekiel were the only ones left inside.
"Papa, you said you'd bring me to the garden… Can we go there now?" Ezekiel asked.
Adam nodded, "Ah, yes, the white daisies are in full bloom… Come with us, Ely."
