Chapter 1 - Prologue 00.00

Start of Prologue

"Stop!! Don't do this!!!... please." The younger boy pleaded to the young adult. " p l e a s e don't do this... they didn't break their oath, the others did... d o n' t.. h u r t.. t h e m ... P L E A S E" the younger boy was crying now, his hair was flying in all directions getting stuck in his tears.

"Evil doers need to be punished, they SHALL be brought to the Erinyes for judgment and punishment, THEY killed those of our own... those who were doing nothing wrong, they were only bringing those who broke their oath to Erinyes."

"Their oath was rather large, it crossed with whether or not others lived or died. When he broke that oath Lulu, of who OTHERS also agreed to ... THOUSANDS died Lulu... thousands. It was raining blood. It was that bad. Even the goddess of the moon who doesn't like humans had to agree it was brutal."

The stormy winds increased making it hard for Lulu to stay still by his brother's side.

"But... brother they had nothing to do with that oath!!...'' At this point he was clinging to Aegues's clothes, begging for him to stop.

"Who do you think was also one of the Harpies trying to bring those who broke the oath that resulted in blood rain?... what do you think happened to FATHER for him to never return home?... They captured him and told the public that OUR FATHER was the reason for the thousands who died... they executed him in public, they were cheering for him to die."

The older brother was crying as well, reminiscing the old memories with his father; missing him.

"The one who broke his oath spilt his poison and corrupted others into doing the same, they are killing US... saying WE are the cause when they are the ones who are breaking their promises and oaths and killing innocent people." The older brother turned to Lulu,

"So answer me this Lulu, how can I just stand back and watch as we get blamed for their wrongdoings. Our own is getting executed when we are just trying to bring the corruption and poison into light. For them to face judgment and justice, And bring those who broke their oaths and promises on purpose, of which resulted in the loss in innocent lives and lives of our own, to Hades and the three Erinyes.

They injured us while we were bringing them to the Erinyes for judgment, they then executed them in public."

His face was stone cold filled with sadness and a touch of fright as if he realized something. He continued.

"They shall be brought punishment for their wrongdoings, they are evildoers."

Lulu could not believe that they killed their father and people, he just couldn't. His friend wouldn't do that, cheering for their death, she would never... would she? Lulu didn't know anymore, he was confused and hadn't slept in the past 24 hours, at this point he was just running on the adrenaline the stormy weather brought .

He was about to say something to his brother when the storm raged with a deafening howl, piercing his sensitive ears. Lulu watched as the raging storm grew stronger as the seconds passed, surrounding the already gray area with a void less black which none could see through.

He knew, as the storm grew crazed that this was beyond what his brother could control, it would tear them both apart at this point if he didn't do something... he tore to his brother's arm turning him to look at him. Screaming at the top of his lungs just to be heard.

"S T O P..... Y O U ' L L T E A R U S B O T H A P A R T.!!!! THIS IS BEYOND YOUR CONTROL... STOP!!!! pleeEEEEASE... STOP THIS "

Aegues had understood what Lulu was saying but the storm was already out of his control and has been for a while. He could do nothing to reel it in, more or less stop the storm...

could this even be called a storm?...

No, no it could not.

It looked like the Gods ravaged the sky and winds... The sky was turned inside out, it was impossible to see anything far away. You could barely see your own hands beside the small flashes and shimmers of dark crimson that stained the air. The crazed winds were already slashing at them like whips as sharp as stone.

It was tearing at his body making it hard to stay afloat and his wings were already disintegrating back into winds not wanting to be torn apart.

Aegues realized that the both of them could not escape this, one of them could if the other sacrificed their body and returned to the winds, but not both. It was more or less impossible for the both of them to escape unscathed.

Even less of a chance for the ones who the "storm" was directed at, to survive or live. He could already feel the mass of dead souls in the direction of the human civilization.

He would rather be torn apart by this monstrosity of a storm HE created, rather than watch his younger brother be torn apart from his mistake. With this in his mind, he made his decision. He controlled what little winds he could, locked eyes and hugged his brother saying,

"I should have listened to you... this... I cannot control nor reel in nor delay,"

he whispered in Lulu's ear, motioning to the 'storm'

" we cannot both make it out alive... and I'm afraid that I will be saying goodbye for now... You are my brother Lulu... and I love you like a brother does."

And with that he pushed Lulu with as much force as he could away from this monstrous storm, towards the area of a very small forest. He looked calm as the winds tore his body apart piece by piece.

He was in pain... a lot of pain, but he would soon return to the wind... back into a wind spirit that he once was. And his brother would live... and he was fine with that.

Lulu was crying, balling his eyes out for his brother after hearing and watching what Aegues did. He was slowly descending but going far at a rapid pace, the winds were tearing at him and it was painful.

His wings were almost gone now, half were turning to go back into the wind, the other being whipped to pieces while his body was no better... he was berated in small paper cuts from the winds, blood oozing slowly from his wounds. It was hard to stay awake at this point and his head was throbbing from a headache.

His brother's control on the little bit of winds to keep him just a bit more protected, was fading... Using all of his strength that his body could possibly have in his state, he directed himself more towards the center of the small forest area he was shot towards.

It was not quick, nor was it painless. He could turn back into the winds but that would be impossible with this storm without losing his body, and his brother gave him this chance and he wasn't going to waste it.

He crashed through the crowns of many tall and thick trees, breaking multiple big and skinny branches and a multitude of bones. By the time he crash landed on the forest floor he had gathered a broken pair of arms, a sprained left wrist, a fractured shin and foot on the right leg, one dislocated shoulder, one concussion in the head, and one broken thigh bone.

His wings were completely gone at this point, turned into wind and ash, as his body did not want to waste any energy for something it could just soon make with enough nutrients.

He took in his surroundings while he was barely conscious and slowly nodding off to a deep sleep.

There was a small pond near-ish almost far off, a small sapling of which he could swear was a young tree nymph, and a plethora of weird mushrooms in the open growing on trees and on the ground; glowing in the warm darkness of the night.

Doing what he could with the very last drop of strength he had, he created a small, very thin but high velocity barrier around him and the sapling ( he didn't want to hurt it just because of his condition). Rather quickly after that he was nodding off to a deep slumber.

The last thing he heard was his brother's wind spirit say one last thing before going dormant... "when you awake... I'll protect you... no matter what... I'll keep you safe, safe from danger....- - - -. I'm sorry... I'm so so so sorry... please forgive me...- - - -whatever you would like... I'll protect you... I'll protect- - -.. May the Win-"

But he was not fully heard, and cut off from what he was going to say. As Lulu had already fallen asleep. Into a slumber he would not awaken from in a long time....
