Jurgen gets out of the shower with nothing but a towel around of his waist. Jurgen takes the towel off and he starts to put some clothes on until he hears a noise and he goes to the front door of his department. he sees a letter under the door. he takes the letter and he reads it. it was a warning from someone who knows about Jurgen's real identity.
Jurgen was nervous to think that someone actually knows about his identity. he felt the need to run out of the city but then he remembered the conversation that he had with Madame Twisted Mind not so long ago and he told himself that he didn't wanted to be a coward anymore. he wanted to face his problems for once and more importantly he wants to reveal his true identity to the person that he loves.
Jurgen finish dressing. he goes to the kitchen and he grabs a salad and he sits in the living room to eat as he watches the news. the truth is that at first Jurgen had doubts about using the identity of a guy who wanted to be a cop. at first he finished his studies as a cop to not be seem suspicious by people who knew the real Jurgen but somehow he decided to keep the appearances when he could easily disappear with that identity.
the moment in which Jurgen dedicated himself to live as Jurgen was the moment in which he met Fumiko for the first time. it was love at first sight you could say. it was because he had feelings for her that he wanted to give his 100% as he was slowly but surely turning more into Jurgen and he was less Alfan.
now that he has basically left on the oblivion his past as Alfan he is afraid of losing his identity as Jurgen. he is afraid of being forced into becoming Alfan once more. he has lived many years believing to be a real cop that he refuses to walk out of his actual lifestyle. Jurgen wanted to stay forever with the identity that he has now.
Jurgen remembers that when he took this identity at first he made some connections with people so he could use their help at times like this one. he never expected to have to use those connection's help. he search on his room for the notebook in which he has the information about those connections. after searching for some minutes he finally finds the notebook and he walks back to the living room.
he keeps watching the news and eating his salad. he receives a call from his boss Malcolm King letting him know that he was coming back in two weeks 'probably.' Jurgen tells to his boss about the situation in the police department is and about all the police officers that had been injured or killed because of this Gangster war.
"wait for my return. I am going to give some intense cleaning to the streets."
said Malcolm with a creepy laugh.
Jurgen kept talking with his boss. he felt better after hearing the voice of his boss. he knew one thing. he has to find the guy who knows about him and he has to silent him forever.
at 10:00 p.m. on the east side of the city.....
Akio is on the backstage getting ready for a concert that his band is going to give in the city. this is his first big concert. Akio remembers that when he was younger he heard about Arturo's big brother being killed and by who.
when Akio was a child he wanted to be like his father and his grandfather an assassin. that was his childhood dream but all change when he saw his brother crying on his knees once talking about how hard it was (that was Daisuke's first kill) at the time being an assassin was seen as an act of honor and pride. but that day Akio understood the truth about being an assassin and it wasn't pretty.
one day Akio was playing around of the house when he saw his father have a conversation with Mark C Miller Jr. in that conversation Congressman Miller Jr confessed with pride how he murdered a boy who self called himself Bloodstain. years later when Akio met Arturo it was clear that he was the brother of the person who was brutally murder by the congressman. that day he proposed to himself to be that guy's brother.
now Akio is about to have his first concert. Arturo is on the backstage with Daisuke saying hello to the members of the band. Arturo hugs Akio.
"little bro I wish that tonight can be magical for you. don't forget that you fought to be here and here you are. so I hope that when you go there you are going to be proud of the achievement of your hard work."
whispers Arturo as he hugs the guy.
Daisuke tells Akio to buy him some coffee and bread after the concert is over. Akio laughs asking him if he really thinks that he is that nice. Arturo tells Akio to be nicer to Daisuke. Akio goes to the stage with the rest of the band. Arturo and Daisuke are leaving the place. they wanted to hear him sing but they have things to do.
"bro be proud of that little punk. he is finally getting the fame him, and his band deserve. the best part is that I won't have that little punk living in my house for free."
said Arturo looking at a list of the payments that he has to do.
Daisuke nods as he tries to avoid laughing. Daisuke asks Arturo if he wants a coffee and bread. Arturo tells him to wait. Arturo reminds him that they are on a mission and that mission is finding Ted and to bring him to the boss.
earlier on a bar....
Jonathan is drinking by himself. he is having trouble finding a way to get Fumiko's love. he feels regret for losing her but he doesn't want to give up jet. he wants to be given a second opportunity to prove that he is worthy of her love.
"does she fucking know how much I love her? does she fucking cares about how painful is to love her? she is such a fucking selfish bitch. she is the worst excuse for human and even so I love her more than ever. can't she see how honest is my love. she should be glad to be love by me."
yields Jonathan furiously.
Professor Barnett Villan (wearing a monkey mask) sits next to Jonathan. he is biting a cigar (the mask has a hole for the mouth.) Jonathan asks him why is he biting the cigar. Professor Barnett Villan explains how he loves Cuban cigars because he has seen them in gangster movies, but he is not a smoker so he only bites them to get the feeling of a gangster.
"you are a freaking weird person but I like that. I like strange not normal people. I mean everything that is different is profanely not normal. if you are not normal you are either a nutcase or a freak. by the look of your mask a nutcase may be your second name."
said Jonathan with his superiority complex.
"you see my friend, you are not the first son of bitch that I tame. I am hoping to see some mother fucking respect come from your slutty tongue as you speak to me. I am no pussy to be intimidated by your pussy-like mouth. if you fucking make another comment about me I am going to fuck you up so bad that you are going to be incapable of walking for the rest of your life."
said Professor Barnett Villan with an intimidating tone of voice (when he is angry his vocabulary becomes vulgar. he is mostly trying to control his words.)
after some words being exchange in between them Jonathan and Professor Barnett Villan are drinking peacefully in the bar. Jonathan tells him about his ex and about his father. Professor Villan tells him that he is taking care of a 'pet.'
Jonathan can't give up on his capricious & selfish love for Fumiko because his fear for loneliness is as great as his fear for starting a serious relationship. is because of the way his father treated his mother that he is afraid of giving his all on a relationship with the fear of not being loved equally.
Professor Barnett Villan is not planning on becoming friends with such a pathetic man nor having a connection with him. he prefers to think that tomorrow he is going to pretend that he never met this man. he has more serious things to do than to talk with a pathetic man like the Hero 2#.
Jonathan is drinking none stop. he wants to drown sorrows in liquor until there is no memory of yesterday nor promise of tomorrow. he prefers to see the past as a bad dream and the future as fake propaganda of unfeasible promises.
earlier on the best hospital of the city....
Ted Wayne Whitley is walking inside of the room in which Mark C Miller Jr is staying. Ted puts a bouquet of flowers on the bed. he looks at Mark with a smirk. Mark C is not surprise to see that snake but he is not interested in keeping him as an ally (if he was ever one.)
"can I know in what bullshit you pretend to make me lose my time. you see I have better things to do than tolerating your bullshit lies."
Mark lets Ted know that he is not pretending to be friends.
"help me escape from the city.... if you help me to escape from the city, I can tell you where is the person who you want to kill the most. I have people following the infamous Lethal Stinger and I know that you want his head in a silver plate."
said Ted knowing that this is his last resort to save his neck.
"okay, in a week an armored car is leaving the city with some things that are precious to me. that is your safest way out of the city. now give me the head of that ungrateful bastard."
"wait. we are making a deal in here. this deal affects me more because of this deal my life depends. assure me that I am going to leave the city with my neck in its place and I can give you every information that I hold about your rabid pet."
Ted Wayne thought he was too smart but in the end of the day we was too stupid to see that he was digging his own tomb. now that he feels that death's fingers are caressing his face is when he feels the need to leave the city to save his life.
if there is something that Ted Wayne has to accept is that he let his guard down with Professor Villan who basically manipulate him to trap himself in a difficult position. now the only salvation is for him to ask for help to Mark a man with power and resources. Ted could have easily escaped on his own but right now Bloodstain and the Drainer are slaughtering his people and destroying everything that belongs to his mafia.
Mark accepts to protect him until he is out of the city but he warns him that if he ever intends to return to the city he is not going to take responsibility if he dies. Ted swallows saliva as he takes the only offer available on the table.
Ted is about to leave before he is warn by Mark that if he lies to him about knowing about Lethal Stinger he is going to wish to be dead. Ted politely tells him that there is no need to lie when he actually has evidence that proves that he knows about Lethal Stinger enough to use it to make a deal like this one.
Mark C Miller Jr is not a man who forgives easily those who lie to him. the last person to lie to him about a business deal ended up tongueless buried in concrete (his remains are at the moment under one of the buildings that belongs to Mark.) Ted knows about those details and for that same reason he is not brave enough to lie in his face.
Ted Wayne Whitley is not precisely the boss boss of the mafia in which he works. his boss send him to this city five years ago to build a profitable branch office on the city. it all worked well but now he is penniless and alone in the city. there is no way in hell that his superior is going to risk money for him so yes Ted is in his own.
"hey Ted you are lucky enough to have heard the legends of my acts of brutality and not being one of the prime witnesses of how much I hate lies."
"yes, Congressman Miller Jr. you don't have to convince me of how scary you are, because I already know."
Ted leaves. Congressman Miller Jr is laughing thinking that Ted doesn't know what scary really means. he murmurs telling himself that there is no one who can be more scary than Bloodstain when he is angry.
