Arristide is on his room alone. Arristide is holding Blind Thief's letter on his hands. he opens the letter to read it. he looks at it without reading for a moment.
"Arri I don't know how to say this. not so long ago I met this man who told me that I was going to die soon. I was furious at first to think that my lifetime would be short without any important event in my life. after that revelation I met Sir Bloodstain & Sir Drainer, it was until I met them that I felt peace with my fate. I found the location of someone with a similar power to mine & I had done things possible for you to meet with this man. you can call him my replacement or Blind Thief II."
Arristide puts the letter down as he is crying feeling the absence of his dear friend who was like a brother. is true that Arristide is a cold man but he always felt some humanity while having B.T. at his side but now that he is dead there is nothing stopping him from embracing the darkness and coldness within him.
Arristide calls the head butler from the mansion. Alvin Knight knocks on the door before he enters inside of the room. Alvin bows in front of his master. with a warm smile Alvin asks to his master for his command. Arristide orders him to search for man ready to die for money on the streets. he has people working for him but they are too important to waste them on his worthless enemies.
"master may I know about your whole plan."
"it is simple, it is really simple. I am going to end every other gangster on the city. there is not enough space for all of us. I want to start with someone who has become a pain in my neck since day one."
"yes my master, I am going to find the people you need sir."
"oh and one more thing. tell Bloodstain and the Drainer to forget about Ted Wayne Whitley. he is going to die by my hands but in another day. right now I want them to bring me the head of someone completely different."
Alvin leaves the room. Arristide dries the tears from his face. he takes a shower and gets out of his room with his finest clothing. he puts on a mask (the mask has the shape of a man with a hand covering his eyes) Arristide puts some gloves on and he gets out of the house.
he spends a few hours on a car driving. there was something that he wanted to find on the city (which is a damn huge city) Arristide calls Lethal Stinger and he asks some questions. he ends the call and he goes to a gas station. he stays inside of his car thinking about the war on the city.
twelve hours later on the west side of the city on the zone that belongs to Domingo.....
Domingo is drinking coffee as he is taken out of a warehouse by a driver. as they are getting far from the warehouse there is an explosion and the whole warehouse is on flames. Domingo is receiving many calls from his people asking for help. someone chose this day to targeted his organization. he keeps receiving calls to be told by his people about all the properties, merchandise and henchmen that he is losing today.
"hijo de la gran puta. pero quien cojones se atreve a pisarme los huevos."
yields Domigo in spanish as he feels powerless.
Domingo is a sadistic son of bitch but he is also a calm man who thinks before acting. this is the first time that he feels that he is losing control of the situation. he feels rage as he keep receiving bad news. he has never felt so powerless as today.
Domingo tells to the driver to take him to a place that belongs to him of which not many people knows about. he calls the surviving members of his mafia (on the city) to go to that place as he gives them the location. he thinks that if he can regroup with his people there can be a safe way out of the city.
he called everyone that was still alive and he asked them to avoid any enemy. he warns them to be careful to not be capture or be seen by the enemy forces. Domingo was extremely furious and there was some fear deep inside of him. there was some fear that he refused to accept.
the driver was as nervous because no one has ever seen someone capable of planting a drop of fear on him. Domingo tries to pretend that nothing is wrong, but his face can be easily read at this moment as he trembles trying to think of a good plan.
they finally arrive in front of an abandoned building that belongs to Domingo (the reason the building is abandoned is because Domingo was making a deal with someone in which the building was meant to give them an extra income, but things went wrong and that someone went underground or underwater.)
Domingo gets out of the car. he asks the driver to stay on the car. Domingo walks quietly inside of the building. he finds every man inside dead. most of them were brutally slaughter and others were hanged. Domingo gets two guns out as he awaits for someone to attack him. the Drainer falls in front of him. Bloodstain walks from behind with Arristide at his side.
"this is madness. this is sickening. this is too sick even to my taste."
Arristide warns Domingo that is more convenient for him to drop the guns. Domingo grinds teeth as he tries to find a way out. he is feeling desperate as he looks around of him. Domingo drops the guns. he takes a dagger out and he runs towards Arristide. Bloodstain stabs him in the arm forcing him to release the knife.
Domingo is drag outside to see the driver dead on the front seat. Domingo curses them. he yields at them as he promises to have his revenge some day. Arristide orders them to beat him. Domingo was on his knees laughing asking if any of them had the balls to follow orders.
Drainer kicks him in the face. Domingo falls on the ground spiting blood. Drainer and Bloodstain are kicking him with all their strength. Domingo is on the floor helpless awaiting to be kill. Arristide yields 'stop.' the Drainer walks backwards with Bloodstain.
"is that is. es eso todo lo que tu puta madre te enseno? eso es nada para matar a una bestia como yo."
said Domingo in a tone of voice that sounded more like a whisper. he was out of breath.
"oh no, you are mistaken senor Plazas. this was nothing but a warning of what is to come to you if you don't leave the city tonight."
Arristide's words were as cold as his tone of voice.
Arristide takes a gun from the floor and he shoots Domingo in the left leg. Arristide explains to him that what happened tonight was nothing but a tiny small demonstration of what he is capable. a warning for him to leave.
Domingo somehow was capable of standing up. he looks at the cold eyes of Arristide and at the masks of his henchmen. Domingo walks slowly towards the car. he takes the dead body out of the car and he gets inside. he looks at the cold face of Arristide one last time to confirm something.
Domingo puts some music on the car. he looks at the road and he leaves in the car. he kept driving until he was out of the city. after a while he stops the car. he is in there, in the middle of nowhere trying to process what just happened. he hits the steering wheel and he screams furiously. he stops as he looks at the nothingness of a dark road.
on the abandoned building Bloodstain takes his mask off. Drainer looks at Arristide and he asks if that was all for the day or if he had another job for them to do. Arristide tells them that they can leave now. he wanted Domingo out of the picture and his organization underground and that was their accomplishment in six hours.
the Drainer asks them if they want some cakes before leaving. Arturo looks at the dark sky of the night. Arturo tells to his boss that he has a date with his crush tomorrow. Arturo asks to his boss to give him any job now, but to give him the day tomorrow to enjoy with her. Arturo leaves.
Arristide stays outside of the abandoned building thinking in how far can he go as a gangster. he never thought before of how dangerous is the business nor about the consequences of his actions.
four hours ago in the center of the city....
Professor Barnett Villan is walking around of the city with his creation, Viktor (he is wearing a jacket with hood. he is wearing black gloves. some sunglasses and a hat.) he seems suspicious but it was the best idea Professor Barnett had to hide the appearance of his creation.
Viktor is like a lost kid trying to find his way. there are a lot of things that he can't recognized. because Viktor is composed of several souls he contains more than one memory and to avoid any mental condition like schizophrenia or multiple identity disorder, Professor Villan suppressed Viktor's memories.
Viktor asks for some ice cream. Professor is writing in a notebook every detail about Viktor. he is trying to see if he can use this invention to create an army of undead. Viktor is only the prototype which can be successful or a fiasco. the real deal would be making stronger, obedient, heartless undead soldiers that can be sold to countries or organizations for good money.
professor Villan buys lemon ice cream for himself and coconut ice cream for Viktor. they keep walking. Viktor looks at the Professor and he asks him if he is his dad. Professor Villan nods.
"dad is Viktor a good son? you no smiling and Viktor sad for dad."
"no need for emotions Viktor. the world is full of wrongful emotions and wrongful actions. the worst thing a man can do is to have fake faith in objects, deities or humans. in this world we came alone to leave alone.... you better listen to my every word Viktor, for your own good."
"why dad no liking the world? dad no believe in nothing? is bad to feel? no understand dad."
"let me make things clear for you, Viktor. the world isn't wrong but are the humans in it the ones that are wrong. humans are too evil for their own good or too stupid to leave everything in the name of 'faith.' if you want to survive society you better not trust in anyone, not even in me your dad. now let's go home, Viktor."
Viktor didn't know why but he could understand enough to know that his 'dad' was dealing with emotional wounds. there was something on his 'dad's' past that left enough scars on him to not have faith in nothing nor anyone who isn't him.
on their way home Professor Barnett Villan receives a message from the organization called the 'Circle of Oracles.' that is the name of the organization that saved his life and hired him to do some dirty work behind a lab. they need of his services and the day in which they don't need him anymore, well that day would be his last.
Viktor asks him if it is someone important. the Professor sends them a text. Professor Villan tells him to not ask any needless questions. the Professor tells him that asking questions can take a man to the grave.
two hours later on a restaurant.....
Fumiko is in a restaurant waiting for Jurgen. they agree to have a date after work (she agreed to have dates with Jurgen, Arturo & Night-Sight.) she orders a glass of water as she awaits for her date. Fumiko drinks the water slowly.
some twenty minutes later she orders the special. when her food arrives she eats slowly thinking that Jurgen is going to arrive at any minute. Fumiko finishes her food and she waits a little bit more. she pays for her food and she leaves.
Fumiko is calling him while Jurgen is watching her from far away. he is afraid of her finding the truth about him. he is afraid of being rejected once she knows who he really is. Jurgen answers her call.
"I was waiting for you. what happened? are you working at this hour?"
"sorry but I couldn't see you today. to be honest I am hiding a big secret from you.... I am afraid of you finding about it..... I am going to tell you everything, but first give me some time to think about it..... please understand that I love you and I am scared to think that this feelings may be one sided once I reveal the truth."
"there is nothing to fear. if I love you or not is not going to be for a secret, but for the real you, and for your noble heart."
Fumiko ends the call. she walks to the direction of her home. Jurgen watches her as she disappear from his view slowly. he has to confess a crime to her. he sits on the pavement as he looks up at the dark sky.
