Not long after Ryo left, Carter came in with a female doctor and a nurse with him. Airi turned her head back to the clicking sound of the door.
"I see, so you have finally woken up," the doctor smiled gently at Airi. "Had a nice sleep?"
"More like a nightmare, doc. I ain't used to sleepin' so much. Now my body aches," Airi let out a clumsy-looking smile at her. "Can I just get rid of this room already?"
"Not so soon, honey. But it depends on you how fast you can," she chuckled lightly before coming near Airi. "Now let me check on you, nurse, take her blood pressure and temperature, then I'll check the wound."
The nurse nodded her head and came forward to do her work. And Carter was standing to one corner, leaning against the wall.
"Carter, I think you should go back now. It's already past 11," Airi spoke up, noticing him. His eyes looked a little tired, and he even seemed drowsy.
