But all of those resolves he had made for the sake of her felt like those were crumbling. It wasn't really much to be bothered by, but yet, everything he did, he thrived for until now was for her sake. So, seeing that she didn't think of relying on him, even though he asked so many times to tell him what had happened, made him feel upset. Even though he tried so hard to be as reliable as an adult person, seeing that in the end, an actual adult seemed more assuring to her, made him feel like he couldn't cross the bridge of being the actual adult from acting like one. And those felt really frustrating to him.
"I pushed myself so hard to be perfect in fights, still she thinks I can't even stand for her?" He sighed dejectedly, slumping against the door of his room.
