The road was rough, filled with rocks, pebbles, mud which stopped the horse from running to it's full speed, and a whole forest to ride on day and night. Lee was already a week away from Tong'an, who knows what will happen in a week? For all he knew a week was the longest time to leave me alone, yet a shortest time for anyone with bad intentions if they wanted to strike.
As Lee kept on riding, he met with Yang along the way and they all had to stop and catch up on what happened. Yang told Lee everything that took place the moment he left, from them being dragged to the dungeon for a week, to Governor Genghis being put on trial.
"I didn't mention your name, Your Majesty. I saved you from the scandal and blamed the governor, it wasn't my confession that saw him decapitated by Her Majesty. It was his ego and pride. He deserved it" said Yang. Lee didn't say anything, he was more of a listener and less of a talker, he observed more and conversed less.
