As my thoughts were on Leilani and Lee, I suddenly heard a horn blowing from a mile away, and then a bell rang from the nearby temple which was close to the palace - and then screams of fear from the streets and people running wildly. I stood up quickly and looked outside through the window although it was an early morning I could feel the tension amongst the people, I knew the war was upon us already. What I spent most of the days worried about had finally come true.
Reiki barged inside the chambers panting heavily, he and I locked eyes and then he nodded and left the room - no words were needed. I went on to wake Lee up and as soon as he woke up, he raced to his unit in the army to prepare for battle. Chyou came in and took Leilani.
"Your Majesty, come with us. We will be hiding in the underground chambers until all its over. All the nanies and servants will be there too, come with us" Chyou told me while she seemed so worried and concerned.
