Li Jie arrived in Tong'an a week later and I may have to assume that he was actually riding with no rest in between. I didn't meet him at first but I did send my servants to pick him up and show him to his chambers while I prepared to have a chat with him later on. Yet still, I was unrest and scared for the worst to come.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Chyou asked me before I interviewed Li Jie.
"Yes Chyou, I must know the truth"
"What if the truth will only worsen your condition. Let me ask him on your behalf Your Majesty"
"I will be fine Chyou. No need to worry" I said and made my way to the parlor where the meeting between Li Jie and I was set to take place.
I walked in there with only one thing in my mind, to know the truth that Lee chose for it to stay hidden. Also I wished to know where this woman lived so I can personally make sure that she stays hidden - forever.
