Dropping incentive words into the uncomfortable silence between them, Ellen ran inside the building and took an elevator to Chloe's apartment. Standing before the door, she dinged the bell. Her mind dragged her back to grim who was inexplicably silent tonight. What could be pestering him? Disregard how hard she thought, she couldn't fathom out the fact behind his behaviour. He could have caught himself in a fight with his friends or there could be some tension with his parents or siblings.
