Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Have you ever wondered? Is our future set in stone, or can we control what happens? Is there a higher being that controls what we do, or are we the higher being?

"Look. It's late at night, and I'm not feeling very good."

"So, if you mind, could we talk another time."

....

"Hey, you listening?"

....

I waited for him to respond, but all I could hear were the cars making their way around the dark cold streets.

"Look man, I don't have time for jok-"

"JACKSON, I KNOW YOUR IN THERE!"

"GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!"

𝘐𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘶𝘺 𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?

I waved my hand in front of his face, and all I saw was a blank look on his face.

"Guess he is blind."

As I was about to move my hand away, my legs had failed on me, and in an instant, I was about to fall face flat right on top of this random guy.

I tried to get my legs to work again, but it was useless. I had already used all of my energy to keep me up.

As I was about to fall right on top of this stranger, I got getting myself prepared for the worse, but what happened was not something I was ready for.

"MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!"

As I was about to fall on this stranger I was getting ready for the feeling of my skin making contact with his, but...

I had closened my eyes without realizing it, but I didn't need my eyes since, all I was expecting was to fall right on top of this stranger, but as I fell, all I could feel was a cold concrete floor.

I looked up and he was still standing.

"Wh-Wh-What happened?"

"Did he move out of the way?"

"IF YOU DON'T COME OUT I'LL BREAK THIS DOOR DOWN!"

"Huh?"

"Wait, your gonna BREAK WHAT!"

"Whoa, calm down man!"

"I'll count to three and if you're here in that time I'm coming to you!"

"1"

"HEY, ARE YOU LISTENING! I SAID DON'T BREAK THE DAMN DOOR DOWN!"

"2"

"IF YOU BREAK IT DOWN, YOUR PAYING FOR A NEW ONE!"

*BANG*

*CRASH*

"OHH JACKSON, WHERE ARE YOU!?"

"Guess he really wasn't home."

"But now that I'm here, might as well take a souvenir."

"HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING STOP!"

"Should I take the tv?"

"It does look nice."

*Rip*

As this stranger pulled on the tv, the cable broke.

"Whoops, guess it useless now."

"STOP!"

*Toss*

*Crack*

"Ohh, What's this."

After he said that, I tried to see what he was looking at and what I saw was my desk, but I knew it wasn't the desk he was looking at. The moment I saw the computer I knew what he was thinking.

He started walking closer and closer to the desk and with each step he took, it felt as if he was peeling off more and more off of my life.

After he was 2 or 3 steps away from the desk I had already accepted what was about to happen, but after he finally made it to the desk he kept walking.

"Huh?"

"Guess he wasn't going for my computer, that's a relief."

All those emotions that I was feeling slowly faded away, but when I looked back to see what he was looking at, they all came rushing back.

"no."

"Please no."

"you're joking...right."

"Nooo!"

"ANYTHING BUT THAT!"

"Oh, isn't this a nice family photo?"

"P-P-PLEASE DON'T!"

"It would be a shame if anything happened to it."

"STOP!"

"Whoops."

*Crash*

"Guess I should clean this up."

*Stomp*

"Whoops, guess I missed my step there, I should move my foot."

"WHY!?"

*Stomp*

"WHOOPS."

*Stomp*

"OH, MY BAD!"

"STOP, PLEASE NO MORE!"

"HAHAHA!"

"Ah shit, the shards got all over my shoe."

*Kick*

*Crash*

"Hey, looks better in that corner doesn't it."

"Hehe!"

"Hmm, I should leave, I been making too much noise."

"YOU BASTARD!"

Engulfed in rage I ran straight at him. I didn't notice, but all the exhaustion was instantly washed away with all the rage and anger I was feeling. Running like a mad man I got closer and closer, but every time I was about to make contact, it just fazed right thru him.

I tried again and again, but not even once did I hit him.

All the anger I was feeling soon turned into tears.

"why."

"Why."

"Why!"

"WHY!"

I was in so much anger it felt as if I was boiling, but I knew I couldn't do anything and at some point, I ended up asleep on some bench, letting the day slowly go by. And without realizing it, morning had already arrived.
