Eregn walked out of the Headmaster office with a fire lit inside him, this was the last chance he had to make his dreams come true and make everyone that looked down on him regret it.
" How will I increase my magical core though....how can I get stronger ? Maybe father left some magic weapons or artifacts I can use I'll just have to ask Crowley when I return home." Eregn was lost so much in his own thoughts he didnt realized he walked into a group of students running right into one of them falling onto the ground.
" WATCH where you going Loser ! " Eregn looked up and it was Thorne and three of his lackeys blocking his way
" Dammit... just my luck to run into this lughead and his stooges. " thought Eregn " Hey looks like Blackwell been crying did they finally give you the boot ? " Thorne and his gang began laughing.
Eregn clenched his teeth and could feel heat rising to his face until finally he exploded in anger
" No ! They didn't, they just want me tutor your sorry ass I told them you had better luck teaching a monkey not to throw his own shit ! " Thorne and his gang immediately stopped laughing, Thorne face began to get red with anger.
" Oh really Blackwell well it's time to put you in your place you little bitch ! " Thorne eyes began to glow as he held out his hands a forest green circle appeared with mystical symbols.
" Needle Barrage ! "
Thorn like projectiles began to fire out of his hands aiming at Eregn, but before they hit, Eregn rolled out the way in time, got up and ran towards Thorne catching him off guard to deliver a right hook to Thorne face, but just before Eregn could react Thorne used another spell that entangle him in thick prickly vines trapping him at the same time one of Thorne goons hit him with a a blast of wind slamming him into a wall and the other two pelted him with stones knocking him down cracking his ribs and brusing his sternum.
Thorne walked up to Eregn and grabbed him by the hair lifting up his face and began to unleash a fury of punches untill Eregn eye was swollen shut and nose leaking blood dropping him back down to the ground as the rest of his lackeys finished him off with kicks.
Thorne looked over at Eregn rubbing his jaw sneering with a contempt look "Hopefully this will be the last time we see your sorry ass Blackwell ! " Thorne walked off with his gang laughing.
Eregn laid there In pain it felt like his whole body was on fire he struggle to get up gritting his teeth it felt like every muscle in his body was working in overdrive to move untill finally it gave out on him.
Eregn laid there tears pouring out of his open eye in overwhelming agony.
"Are you ok??? "
Eregn could hear a female voice as his vision began to fade from the shock of pain, he groaned laying there, just when he thought he was going to black out he started to feel a cool soothing feeling all over his body, he could feel the pain subside and soon he could move his body.
opening his eyes Eregn could see a girl with jet black hair braided into a ponytail down her back with a blue bang matching her crystal blue eyes and tan skin standing over him with a blue circle around her hands healing him with water flowing all around his body.
" Hey your lucky I got here in time or else I would of had to take you to the school healer what happened ? " Eregn head began to become less foggy as the water finished healing most of his injuries he could finally think clearly as he could finally get up on his feet.
" Its nothing new just bunch of idots like always" Eregn clenched his fist.
" But this time they took it too far..., i wont forget this !" Eregn thought, he began to brush himself off and look at the girl realizing she was a lot more beautiful then he thought her uniform hugged her curves in all the right places causing him to blush slightly easing his rage.
" Thanks for healing me if it wasn't for you, I probably wouldn't have made it
I'm Eregn Blackwell."
Eregn smiled extended his hand to the beautiful girl.
" Oh I know who you are, you always beat my score on the written test I'm Veera Kyrus." Veera looked at his hand then back at him then walked away without shaking Eregn hand.
" Get yourself together Eregn, I won't be losing to you next year, in this world only the strong survive an next time someone may not be there to save you remember that ! " Veera continued to walk off as Eregn shook his head.
" Wow even when someone save me they have a grudge against me...oh well let me head back to my dorm and start packing before I run into more trouble."
Eregn began to make his way back to his dorm until finally, he was in his room it was a standard one bed, one bathroom with a desk in the corner piled with books, next to a window he look around and took a deep breath he couldn't believe everything that happend today, his dad disappearing, the one chance to get into elite school, and lastly the beating he took that could have cost him his life he was so tired he laid on his bed staring at the ceiling as this was his last time sleeping in the room he called home for the last two years.
Eregn soon passed out from exhaustion and began to dream.
Eregn appeared in a dark room as shadows started to surround him moving like snakes until they started to form into a door an out that door a man with white hair, dark brown eyes with an stern look with wrinkles around his eyes appeared, this broad muscular figure was Eregn father Erebus Blackwell stepping out of the shadows reaching out to Eregn.
" Eregn...my son.. go to the room... the book.. its yours.. the house.. the pendant...keep it safe...and beware ! "
Eregn tried to reach for his father's hand, but he was soon swallowed by the shadows.
" DAD ! Where are you ? What do you mean ? What room, what book ? "
The shadows began to shift and transform around Eregn untill they formed a black skull with eerie glowing green eyes like fire staring into his soul when suddenly Eregn was awoken by a knock at the door.
