Chapter 41 - An SOS message...

In front of her, were several small temporary houses. She looked around the houses but she couldn't even notice a single person. It looked as if a storm had hit the village and everyone died in it. But what made it even more sceptical was that not even a dead body could be seen there.

Jennie walked ahead with the pistol in her hand fully ready to fire at anyone who tries to harm her. She decided to check one of the houses, the house which outshined every other one there. It was bigger than the other ones with a beautiful pattern painted on its wall with bright colours, it looked more like a painting, to be precise an ancient story. But Jennie could not decipher its meaning. She opened the door slowly and went behind it, so if anyone was inside, she would not be a direct target for them.

After a minute, she went inside open-eyed. There was a bed inside with a wooden table only. it also had an old-looking almirah. She searched the entire room for any person or any living thing but it looked like they never existed here. if it hadn't been the furniture present there, she would have believed that no one lived there. It was mainly the clean furniture that made her believe that people lived here. If it was deserted then it would be covered with dust, which wasn't the case here. After making sure that no one is present there, she moved towards the table and searched for anything but there wasn't a single thing on it. She sighed defeatedly. Then, she opened the almirah only to find that it was also empty. She was closing the almirah when she noticed that one of the legs of the almirah looked a little distorted. She bent down and shuffled through the leg when she suddenly found a button kind of thing on the backside of it. She pressed the button and the door of the leg opened with a click. She was a little surprised at this sudden discovery. What she found inside was a piece of paper that looked around 1000 years old. She turned it around but there wasn't anything on any side of the paper. But she knew that if it is hidden like this, then it was something very important. Also, the look made it look like a map for a treasure or something like that. Nevertheless, she decided to take it with her, because you never know when it will become useful.

She did not want to wander around anymore because she did not know when someone might come here. Also, she found something mysterious already and as per her information, this should be the village they were looking for. She was happy that they did not have to roam around searching around for it anymore.

She was almost in the middle of her path to the tent when she felt that kind of feeling again, power rushing through her veins making her weak. She immediately took her phone out to check if her eyes were flipping between two colours as told by  Cad. She opened the camera app and what she saw made her scared a little, her eyes were changing colour aggressively. At one second they were blue and at the next moment, they turned to the orangish-red colour. She kept the phone back as she suddenly felt very weak all over her body,

she fell on her knees. She knew she would faint in a few seconds as blood also came dripping out of her nose.  She did not know what to do, she just pressed a button on her satellite phone and then she fainted.

James was sleeping when suddenly his phone rang. He was a little surprised to know that even after he put the phone to silent it still ringed. He picked it up and saw an SOS message from Jennie. He immediately left his house. He checked her location and it was on the same mountain she told him about. Before going to the village, Jennie called James to tell him that she was going to a village for some reason which she did not want to tell him.

James wanted to know the reason very badly but it was her decision to tell or not.

He called his security head and asked him to prepare a helicopter quickly to leave for the Havber mountain. They followed his order and the helicopter was prepared in a few minutes. He decided to take a helicopter because a car would take a long time.

In about 15 minutes, he was already in the helicopter to the mountain. He did not know what happened that Jennie had to send an SOS message to him. It would take them 40 mins to reach the location sent by her.

He was so restless because what if they did not reach on time.

At the base of Jennie's organisation, an SOS message was also sent by Jennie. Sophia immediately asked her men to get a helicopter to the forest, as they did not have one in there. In about 5 mins, the helicopter came as the distance was very less. Sophia and her men boarded on the helicopter and told the pilot to take them to the location sent by Jennie. They had no idea what their boss was doing there. Sophia knew her boss went somewhere but she did not know where she went They all were tensed and scared as they knew something must have happened to her as she never sent this message unless it was necessary.

Sophia then remembered that her sister Ms Cadie also went with her. She dialled her number but it was unreachable.

James also took a doctor with them because who might know, Jennie could be injured. They were landing.

James got out of the copter and what he saw was trees all over the place. He looked in his phone, the location was to the south from there. They walked in the direction where her location was.

Jennie's team also landed in the forest and they also walked towards her location. In their path, they found a tent They went in it only to find Cadie lying unconscious on the ground as blood came out of her nose also.
