James entered Jennie's room only to find her opening her eyes. He quickly rushed to her side as she was struggling.
"Just wait, let me call the doctors , OKAY? " he asked to Jennie who was quite surprised because of his question as she didn't notice him coming here because she just woke up so her senses weren't quite good.
She nodded in reply to which he ran outside and called the doctors.
The doctors followed him and checked her body condition, everything was right except from a little fatigue which she might face. They told her to rest for a few days because her body is very tired from all the work she has been continuously doing around.
The nurses and the doctors had recognized her at one glance only , like she was Jennie Laurence who was currently one of the hot topics on the internet but due to the immense security and pressure on them , they didn't have the courage to even ask for a autograph from her although they really wanted it.
Also the man standing over there , they felt that they had seen him somewhere but couldn't remember where ,was very frightening as he scrutinized his gaze whenever they were near her .
Soon, the doctors left after telling James about what things he should take care of .
As the doctors left , James and Jennie were alone in the room. They both sat silently because they didn't know from where to talk.
Jennie cleared her throat as she realized 10 minutes had passed in their silence. He was not initiating any conversation so she decided to start it.
"Ummm, Thank you .. thank you for helping me even though we are not even that close .."
Jennie waited for his reply but when she got nothing she misunderstood it as he was angry for her disturbing him.
"I am really sorry that I disturbed you , it was just -just that I had no time and had to use that option , if it-"
James raised his head and interrupted her," It is not like that !! You don't have to feel sorry for that , I understand your situation and I am quite happy to know that you called me in emergency .. But.."
Jennie searched for his eyes as she asked ,"But What ??"
"Its just that , I know you need your privacy and I have no right to ask you this but , What was the reason you had to go in that forest ALONE?"
He squinted his eyes on her as she laid back on the headboard of the bed .
Suddenly, she jolted back as she asked ," Where is Cadie? "
James chuckled at her reaction . He told her what happened to Cadie. She was shocked to know that Cadie also fainted. She knew it wasn't just normal fainting for her but Cadie? Why did she faint the exact same way as her ? She desperately needed answers.
James noticed her zoning out as if she was pondering over something very important.
He snapped his fingers in front of her as he tried her to get out of her mind.
She blinked her eyes twice as she realized she had just zoned out.
"I am sorry for zoning out.."
"You didn't answer my question yet .."said James as he waited for her to answer it .
She straightened her back as she answered him,"So, listen clearly what I am about to tell you .. My mom , she died but her case was closed as suicide but actually it was a -a murder . So , I was trying to find something in those forest as I got a clue that I can find an evidence or a hint there. And for the reason I went there alone with Cadie was that none of my subordinates know that my mom's death was murder and I really don't want others to know it . And remember if this thing goes out , I am going to kill you , like real kill you !"
She looked so serious while telling that he gulped down his saliva.
He was pretty shocked to know the reason she went there but now that he knows he kinda understands why she didn't want to tell anyone or take anyone with her .
He nodded as he agreed to not sharing it with anyone.
Jennie was about to lay back when she jolted again.
"There was a piece of paper in my hand , please tell me you have it !!"
He looked at her and showed a shocked expression as he told her ,"No , we didn't get a paper in your hand. It might have dropped there."
He stood up and went to the table . Jennie groaned loudly,"Arghh!! Now what ? It was my last straw!! Oh goddd.."
She really wanted to cry when suddenly a paper came in her blurry sight. She gasped at it causing James to laugh loudly making her look at him with an accusing glare.
She took it from his hand and kept it on her chest as if it was the most expensive treasure she has had ever in her life.
"Seriously, I was about to cry !!" she said as she hit him lightly on his arms .
He giggled like a child causing Jennie to look at him keenly. He looked so good when he laughed, his eyes just vanishing in his skin , she wanted to kiss him .
"WAIT, What !! How did I go from admiring him to the urge to kiss him ?? I am such a weird person ... Seriously!!" she thought in her head.
James had already stopped laughing by the time and noticed her spacing out again.
At this point , he needed to give her an award for spacing out for the second time in an hour. He was about to hit her on head when suddenly his foot tripped and he fell on her with him being on the top.
Suddenly , time stopped for them as his lips collided with hers while falling down. Jennie became stiff when she realized what was happening.
