Chapter 56 - Battle in the Southwest

Seems like I do get another chapter of Druk's story after all. And it's exciting, and remorseful all wrapped up in one. The roller coaster of emotions I went through was unyielding, and I came out of it stronger than I have ever been.

The Piasa Bird, with me riding on his back fully geared for war, flew down as far as New Mexico before the sense of the Tezcatlipoca came to my master's mind, and we turned to head the beast off at the border of Arizona. Burning hot it was!

Desert land, full sun, cacti, sand, and small lizards are what we saw, and in the middle of it all, was Tezcatlipoca, looking like the nasty brute he was. Terrifying! He stood over eight feet tall, had the face of a jaguar with jagged teeth, a huge human-like body with bulging muscles, a great feathered headdress, a decorated and beautiful loincloth, a violet amulet around his neck the size of a human head, and a great viper slithering around his body that eyeballed us immediately as we neared.
