The ghost girl was standing in front of Sonya Soundstrong on the purple carpet, while my friends and I were staring at them with confused expressions on our faces.
"My name is Sonya Soundstrong!" The ghost girl repeated and she chuckled.
"She is wrong!" Sonya opposed.
"Uh, come on, tell the truth! Don't make me tell all the lies you've been telling to Karu!" Ghost girl goaded as she glared angrily at Sonya.
"What is going on? We need an explanation right now." I questioned, looking into Sonya's eyes.
"Fine, I can explain." Sonya sighed, and she started: "She is actually my ghost. I brought her out by using dark magic."
"I don't understand. I thought you can't use magic." I got puzzled.
"By the way, dark magic is illegal. No wonder why the ghost is so powerful." Seanyung commented, taking his phone off from his pocket as he wrote something on it.
"That's right! I had to do it because I wanted to become a person, a human!" Sonya explained as tears fell from her eyes.
Seeing her cry made my eyes watery while I tried to comprehend what she was saying as it didn't make any sense to me.
"They don't even understand what you're saying." The ghost snickered, staring at Sonya.
"Shut up!" Sonya rushed onto the ghost and slapped her in the face. Once her hand reached the ghost's face, it strangely touched it, knocking her to the ground.
"How did you touch her?" I got confused.
"It's because she is a part of me, an evil part. I had to take her out, to become a human. The rest of the world lost their life energy since they let their evil side consume it." Sonya explained and she continued:
"It started years ago when the stars started disappearing. People let the evil spirits consume their life energy. Once they lose their own self, a star died. However, I knew that was going to happen to me, so I tried magic. She formed from my evil side. I tried to trap her to the Komorebi Cafe but she managed to get out somehow."
"You did the right thing." I went next to Sonya and gave her a hug when I saw her in tears.
"Thank you, Karu. I don't know what I would do if you and your friends never existed."
"You're welcome." I smiled at her while Bomyu, Paikek and Seanyung smiled as well.
"Enough! Now, that you know about me. It's time for you to give me the book!" The ghost girl got up, flying around us.
"They don't have the book!" Sonya shouted at the ghost girl.
Then, Sonya jumped onto the ghost girl as her blonde hair flew in the air. She grabbed the ghost by her neck and brought her down to the purple carpet.
"You caused so much trouble. I'll kill you! Sonya squeezed Ghost's heck by her hand.
"Is she gonna kill her?" Seanyung asked, turning his face to Bomyu and Paikek.
"I don't know. Is it possible to kill a ghost?" Confusion overtook Bomyu's face as he spoke in a low voice.
"It doesn't seem possible." Seanyung put his hand behind his head while he was watching Sonya squeezing ghost girl's neck.
"Well, by physical force, it's impossible. But considering magical ways, it's pretty much possible." Paikek put in, showcasing his knowledge about magic.
"Makes sense." Smarty Seanyung nodded.
"We'll see." I turned my eyes onto Sonya who was squeezing ghost's neck.
The ghost started heavily breathing as Sonya held her neck tighter and tighter. The transparency of the ghost's neck was turning into purple at the places where Sonya's hand was on.
"Come on kill me! Kill me now! You can't do it, right?" The ghost girl dared, shouting loud.
Sonya held her eyes on Ghost's eyes without breaking eye contact. The ghost was softly giggling with her mouth closed.
On the other hand, I was feeling bad as I didn't want Sonya to kill someone, even if they were evil.
"You might be a part of me but you don't know me!" Sonya looked directly into the ghost's eyes while she yelled.
The ghost screamed as Sonya left her breathless. Her transparent body began shattering itself into pieces of light.
"You are right, Paikek." Sonya turned her face onto us, then she added; "But, sometimes feelings are stronger than magic."
"Right! This is so true." Paikek's jaw went slack as he watched the ghost withering away in Sonya's hand.
"But... Isn't that going to hurt you too? She was a part of you anyway." I asked Sonya, worrying about her.
She came near me and she grabbed my arm, gazing at my face. For a slice of a second, my heart stopped beating, and I started taking breaths in faster when she touched my arm. I looked at her face, noticing her remarkably beautiful eyelashes and pink lips.
She locked her eyes on mine as she smiled: "Karu, in a place where all of the stars died, anything happening to me wouldn't count as a thing."
"No, Sonya. It's valuable for me." I reassured her as her eyes went watery.
"There's an important thing I must tell you!" Sonya frowned gazing on my eyes.
"What's it?" My brows drew together, wondering what she was about to say.
At first, she looked to left, then she locked her eyes back at me as she confessed;
"When I took the evil ghost out of my body, I used the star book. It has the magic tricks that nobody could do."
"What? Do you have it?" I puzzled.
"No, I don't know where it is, now. That was years ago." Sonya clarified, looking in my eyes.
"Okay, but where is the book really? Can you help us find it?"
"Yeah, I can definitely do that."
"Thank you. Let's get out of this place." I thanked her as my eyes searched for an exit from the old dark mansion.
"Stairs! That's the exit." Sonya pointed the stairs on the other side of the purple carpet as she stepped towards it.
Accordingly, Paikek, Bomyu, Seanyung and I followed her. Once we opened the three meters tall ancient door, it led us to a dark hallway with countless doors on each side of it.
"Which one is it?" I asked, noticing that all doors are looking the same.
"I don't know. It's gone!" Sonya gasped.
"We can use a magic trick to find it." Paikek suggested as he smiled.
Without giving me a chance to respond, a dark shadow passed through us, striking on each one of us. Then the shadows hit on us one by one. They grabbed Sonya and threw it to the other side of the hall.
The rest of the shadows surrounded Seanyung, Bomyu, Paikek and I, creating a storm around us.
The shadows gathered together forming the creature with body of black matter and glowing green-eyes;
The Karuma Panda!
