This is one of the oldest and well-known trials in C:A as this centers around forcing students into repeated combat sessions while tired. A pit filled with monsters that some may refer to as "lesser demons". The ones who may survive such a place are said to come out 10x stronger than they were in the past, but these are only rumors. When one does arise from the pit, the Exousia that has chosen to preside over the Trial will grant a title based on their performance and how they chose to succeed. This is where people like Exousia Prota: Lucious achieved the name Black Flame due to the use of his Anima, which ended his opponents without leaving a burn or scratch on himself.
In RE:Alternative this trial is altered by Emerys Archon as a way to draw out Guisei and the other possible Deadly Sin candidates while dealing with the large class of students that appeared at Curse Academy that year.
