"How do you know that trick?" he questioned me, pointing the sword at my neck. "Who taught you that and gave you that power? Only Lucius can do that in this entire land."
"Then tell me how hid your sword," I answered. "I have never seen anyone have some bendable sword they can hide in their cloak."
He dug the tip of his sword into my neck, reopening the same wound he had created.
"What and how I do is my business," he said, the threat evident in his tone. "I have something visible enough for people who can see."
It was then that my eyes noticed the well-concealed belt and the scabbard that had been hidden by the cloak all this time.
"You wore the amulet again, didn't you?" I asked, seeing his eyes turn black the next second. "You'll truly never listen to me, even when you can see that it's hurting you."
