On the morning of the seventh day, the workers were busy with their duties and the Soldiers were running through their formations. Donny was busy kicking away.
(Home, Grace Period ended)
'Finally, that was a hard couple of days.'
(47 DP)
'I still don't have enough just yet. Queen, you are in charge while I am gone.'
'Sqmmm'
(Exiting Dungeon) When he reappeared Donny saw the same clearing he was in before he disappeared.
*Ding!*
*Ding!*
*Ding!*
….
Almost immediately his phone began to ring non-stop.
'Taylor is gonna kill me.'
Although he is the older sibling, he still cared and doted on his sister greatly. And he never wanted to worry her after the disappearance of his older sister.
'Well, at least now I should be able to provide better. The world may not know what's coming but I need to be prepared and make sure she's safe. I'll just let her know I am coming home.'
[Would you like to take the [Dungeon Seed] with you?...]
After the announcement, he couldn't help but take a look at the dungeon entrance in amazement. It looked just like any other dungeon. The only peculiarity about this one is the shiny stone.
[Yes...]
The stone began to fade as it reappeared inside his head.
'Ow, Ow, Ow.'
Frigging headaches.
Approaching the gates of the village one could see just how far humanity has fallen in the danger zones. Although there are still big metropolitan cities around the globe the factions that govern have become far more stringent and particular about the allocation of their resources.
The divisions in social classes become ever more apparent. The village is simply a walled off community of 1 millions people. Due to the nature of threats to the village the materials were made to be extremely durable. The strength of the defenses are the village's only advantages.
Communication was the only field to survive the apocalypse as humans were able to maintain the internet throughout the introduction of the new stage of the world.
Honestly in a way the internet saved humanity. With the level of communication between countries and amongst the common populace made response efforts more effective and efficient.
"ID, Please?"
The guards were all dressed in their blue uniforms. Each village normally has 5 major forces. The School sector, full of hot-blooded students; the Taskforce Association; The City Guard; The Military Outpost; Powerful families and domestic factions.
"Alright, Mr. Draco, have a good day." As he entered the village, an old beggar spotted him and began to make a call. Not even 10 minutes later, a group of young men exited a black vehicle in front of Adonis. Cutting off all paths of escape.
"Mr. Vatec would like to see you now." Spoke one of the various goons. Gregory Vatec is a second generation oil company brat who hired Donnys' services as a pack carrier to raid a nest.
When the group engaged the falcon type beast, it became quickly apparent that the group were at a major disadvantage. Seeing they were about to lose they shot Donny and left him there.
Surprisingly the falcons were smart and went after the people that were actually attacking them. Now it looks like business isn't yet settled.
"Tell Greg, I do not wish to see his lying, backstabbing, conniving a**. Have my money by tonight. See you later." As I turned to leave a fist was already fast approaching my face. Though with a 15 Perception the goons fist seemed to be moving so slow.
[Lead Boot]
*Sppllaattt*
The goons' head exploded upon contact. Crap, I forgot my strength is at thirty with that skill. Well one is dead I might as well finish the job.
A dangerous glint flew across his eyes, as a decision was made internally in this moment of who he is to become.
'I am no killer, but I ain't no b****'
With that thought a lion descended amongst a herd of gazelle.
The eyes of the goons soon became hopeless witnessing his ability. Shaking with fear one of the smaller delinquents took out a pistol and began to let it spray.
"Die,Die,Die,Die,Die" After he ran out of bullets there was finally a moment of respite where everyone tried to re orientate themselves after such a loud sound in this skinny hallway. Though they were sure they got him now.
'Whew, looks like [Stoneskin] was truly a worthy investment.' After checking over his body for injuries his eyes returned to the bodies of his enemies. They couldn't help but shiver at the lack of humanity in his eyes.
After 5 minutes of screams. He subdued each of the men and forced all of them into the dungeon. After cleaning up he continued his trekk.
When he came to his house he couldn't help but get emotional.
'We won't have to live here much longer.'
The building had fallen apart. Although the danger zones aren't as well developed as the major cities, the basic infrastructure has always been prioritized but on this side of town the government could care less.
The only way to be valued in modern society is to have something to offer.
'I don't have to do all the hunting to get stronger. Seven looks to lead a good life merely selling beasts and weapons. Why can't I?'
Entering his room he began to gather an inventory list of his gains. After doing so he cleaned some meat and stocked their food containers. Beast meat has been found to be very healthy in many cases.
The special properties of modern plants and animals are very pronounced so the effects are more obvious.
[Stone Energy: 7]
'If Taylor can make use of these in her diet she might find some great benefits.'
Taylor Draco was seen as a kid genius from a young age. Most of it was due to Monia though. After she was experimented on and Ancestral Awakening methods became more mainstream, she asked me if I would like to awaken. At the time I didn't see the need as the world wasn't as chaotic at the time. So I passed the opportunity to Taylor.
Generally a family will awaken powers similar to each other with a few outliers. Monia awoke an ability called [Fire Spitter] and Taylor [Lava Dancer]. Donny would be the outlier in this case.
With her new found abilities Taylor instantly became a standout and a desirable candidate to countless institutions. Yet, she chose to stay in school. Monia was able to afford Taylor and Donnys tuition at the same time and for them to live a pleasant life. But when she disappeared it all crumbled.
They lost their estate and possessions and Donny also made the tough decision to drop out to find work to pay for his sister's schooling.
After packing the fridge and deep freezers to the brim with a plethora of mutated meat he took many of his high level corpses to the Taskforce Association.
The Taskforce Association is a large mega corporation nearly covering the globe and is one of the top 10 factions on the globe. They allow civilians to create their own personal militia to combat the inhuman threats.
At first there were countless oppositions to their growth and development but when the creeper dungeon exploded so did the number of teams across the world looking to set up personal units to defend themselves.
One of the reasons this was the first place he chose to go is because of the limited human interaction. Donny originally made his Task Force with a few friends from school but after they awakened he soon became the only member of his Taskforce, The [Party of Fools].

The storage container he used to carry the beasts around is his most expensive hunting tool to date. It was part of the new school orientation for each of the students to receive state of the art 'Nicky Space Packs' during their school career.
Truthfully he was supposed to return it but it was literally the staple of his business as a glorified pack mule. It can hold up to 100 items without regard to their size.
As he was unloading his pack many representatives were having a meeting 2 floors higher.
" - And then I told him, grab her by the...."
"Sir, sorry to interrupt but there is some commotion going on with the new F-tier rankings." A disheveled secretary barged into the room in a panic.
" - By the hair. What happened to the rankings that have gotten you so flustered?" Criminey Lions is the head of the Phoenix branch of the Taskforce Association and has raised this division from the ground up.
"We were complaining recently how the F-tiers of the west coast don't have any promising taskforce, right boss?"
"Right."
"Well there is a F-tier team that has broken into the D-tier rankings."
"How is that possible? In order for an F-tier taskforce to compete with a D-tier one they must have some powerful members to rack up such numbers.?
"That's the thing sir. There is only one member."
"Come again"
"There is only one person in the party and last time he was evaluated he wasn't awakened."
"So what you are telling me is that a mortal is competing with parties of D-tier geno-warriors? Not E and Not F?"
"Indeed."
"Interesting, maybe this year won't be so boring after all."
….
Back down stairs, Donny had just finished loading 37 corpses into the scanner.
