Chapter 10 - The Organizations

As Adam continued to play with Lucius he was also thinking about the future as well, while Gregory was aware of some of the undercurrents within the civilization he wasn't able to step back and have a complete as a picture as Adam. With the new recruitment drive from all three organizations it was obvious something major was happening within the central universe, although he was the head of a bloodline family, his ancestor was missing leaving them completely out of the loop when it came to matters like these. It wasn't only them the other three bloodline families on Hairouna also had the same problem, as they didn't have support of a demigod ancestor.

So being proactive all families were slowly accumulating their power in preparation for a major event, and the birth of such a prodigy within the King family if exposed is sure to tilt the power balance of not only the planet of Hairouna but maybe the entire Grenadine system, which was the solar system the planet of Hairouna was located on, this should be enough to show how terrifying was the talent Lucius displayed so far. "Father I know it's still early but it should be mentioned, how are going to deal with the recruitment of the three organizations when it comes to Lucius" Gregory said with smile that almost wasn't a smile, he himself knew that this while and opportunity it was also a cause of major concern. As while whales attacks each other for benefits the other fishes in the sea may die if they careful and didn't approach with caution. "I'm not too sure myself, with you being a part of Chimera while am a part of the apostles I would think that he may choose either one of the two, even I'm not too sure what Luci laws cater too, so it's still left be seen".

The three organizations spoken about were what can be considered the ones who held the highest degree of power within the Verger civilization, they were the apostles, Chimera and Ouroboros, and each signified a different ideology within the Civilization. The apostles were the more peaceful of the bunch focused on diplomacy and governance, Chimera had a more neutral stance while there were many combat related breakers among their ranks, and they also featured people of other professions such as artisans and potion makers. Ouroboros on the other hand were the most warlike out of three, with their members' main focus 'strength by any means'. Lucius listening in on the side had some idea of the doctrines of the three organization and some of the roles the played within the civilization due to his time listening the history of the Vergers from Lilith, anyone can decide to join any organization as long as one became a breaker there was no discrimination based on the organization you joined normally, but this was only applied to the low level members, each organization has a similar structure each featured low level members these were the persons newly recruited, or the individuals who had strength but not willing to fully commit to the organization, next were the middle level members these were the ones who were close to the realm of a demigod, after middle management came the top level members these were the ones who held the real power, to be considered a top level member you had to be a demigod or have combat prowess of one, above them were the core members who didn't really focus on worldly matters and were focus on breaking through the limit and achieve a godhood. Although they had people above the core members, even bloodline families like the Kings weren't privy to that information.

People within the middle or top management obviously were the bulk of their respective groups and while they came together for the benefit of the entire civilization in times of crisis, it was obvious competition existed between them otherwise. The higher powers of three understood that this was necessary as well, as without internal competition to stimulate individuals the civilization will eventually stagnate, so they tacitly agreed to all of the battles behind the scenes that occurred as they knew each one of their members knew what line they couldn't cross. Yet when it came to a prodigy like Lucius all bets may be off the table, just the unique traits represented something auspicious that should be celebrated, while the mysterious images displayed by the law orb was another point that shouldn't be neglected. It was obvious all three organizations may want to win Lucius to their factions and as Gregory and Adam belong to different factions although they were low level members they somewhat had a relationship with some of the middle management of their respective organizations. Yet they held no actual sway in a decision like this, everything was still left to be seen.
