The young lady get off the ship and immediately went back to her house. A villa made just for their family.
"Prepare the long distance communication crystal! Now!"
"T-to who milady?" Ask by one of the servants.
"My father, obviously! You idiots!"
The girl shouted in anger.
The elegant and grace movements from her daily life was change into that of a mad drunkard, cursing anyone who would even dare to stop her. Just like that of a royalty, no one would attempt to agitate the lady especially in her current state.
"How dare a measly tier-two adventurer threaten me?! ME?! I will show him what it means to make an enemy to the house of Aplora!!!"
As she entered the room where the communication crystal was.
"All of you get out! Now!"
All the servants and the guards inside hurriedly went out. Not wanting to face the wrath of the angered lady.
The lady took deep breaths.
Bzzzt. Bzzzt.
"My honey! Did you miss your father?" The man ask.
The girl started making a crying sound. A low whine. As if she is holding back her emotions.
"Why are you crying? Did something happened?"
"There was a guy... who threatened me... when I was just trying to help him out. Papa, what did I do wrong?! Please help me! I don't want to die!"
She said with a hoarse voice.
"WHAT?! Who would dare to do something like that to my daughter?! What was your guards even doing?!"
The man shouted in anger.
"No it wasn't their fault. It was because that they weren't able to move because that man was so powerful."
"What is his name?"
"Michael. A two-tier adventurer"
"Its okay darling, papa will resolve it. Just stay there and relax. Make sure you eat properly."
The communication device allowed for people to talk even in great distances without the use of mana since there is already a magi stone imbued to it. During the entire the conversation of the father and daughter, the lady, Jady Aplora, despite her hoarse voice and crying was actually smiling the entire time. A devilish smile that had malice in it.
Their call ended. The lady went to her room.
......
Somewhere in the capital of the empire, in the house of the richest merchant in the world, the Aplora household. Fin Aplora burst in anger the moment the call ended.
Naturally, everyone was shock to see the sudden change. Just moments ago he was in a very good mood, whistling while walking with a smile on his face. But now he exuded the aura of a tyrant. One who is angered extremely to the point veins started to show on his neck and face.
"Connect me to him now!" He yelled.
After a few minutes...
Bzzzt! Bzzzt!
"Do you need something?" Ask by the man on the other line.
"I want you to kill someone!" The merchant replied.
"Been a long time since you were this angry at someone. Who is it?"
"A tier-two adventurer who goes by the named Michael"
"And what will be my reward exactly?"
"I will give you a 50% discount to all my products, in any of my store for the next year. Is that enough?!"
"Very"
"Make sure to bring him to me! I will torture that son of a b*tch myself!"
"Okay. It will take longer since I am in the southern continent. But do not worry I will do it nevertheless. You know that I never fail right?"
"Good!"
The call ended.
Fin Aplora went to his office and sat on his chair. Laughing maniacally. A laugh that would terrify anyone if heard in the night.
"Just wait you bastard, I will make sure to give you the most painful death there is"
----------
In the harbor town.
"Master, where should we go first?" (Nunu)
"For now, let's find an inn"
Now how am I going to move my car in such a crowded place?
"You can just put it into your inventory" (Loki)
"I already tried that. And it doesn't work" I whispered.
"That is because your level back then was low but now you can. From the beginning, before you even board the ship you can already put it aside to your inventory"
Huh?
"Then why the hell did you not tell me something like that?!" I yelled.
The people around me look at me as if I'm some kind of nutjob.
"Cuz' you never ask, idiot. Hahaha!"
I wish for the support of some god other than him. Any god other than him. But that can't happen now can it.
I put the car into my inventory and this time it actually work.
We look for an inn to rest since both of them were mentally unstable currently due to sea sickness and lack of sleep. The people were so noisy they weren't able to get any sleep. Poor them.
I went to buy some food and clothes. In case our clothes get torn, burn or anything at that, having insurance would be better than nothing.
The crowded market was a bit overwhelming. A loner shouldn't even be here to begin with.
What I can see is that, most of the people here in the central continent have way higher levels than the ones in the northern continent. There were a lot of mages and knights over level 30. And this is just the outskirts of the empire at that.
I am confident I can slaughter all of them on my own though. So long as they don't know that is.
The food here is also more expensive and disgusting compared back in Astel. I kinda regret leaving already because of food. I don't need it but my companions will be the ones complaining later on. Better brace myself.
After buying everything I needed, I went to a dark alley and put everything I bought into my inventory. How convenient.
I then release my aura all over town. Hmmm. I look at a map that I bought earlier and tried to estimate things. Strange. It was strange. There were a lot of souls in an abandoned site where no one would even think of going to, based on the rumors I heard. All gathered in one place.
I would think that it would be people partying or just having some sort of event but the amount was crazy.
Suspicious!
I went back to the inn like nothing happened.
"The food is like dirt but its edible"
"You can't possibly be thinking I would eat that, right?"
"Well, you don't want to starve now, right?" I ask with a smile.
"As long as there is no poison or if it is not expired I will eat it, master"
"If you are gonna complaint then you buy. Just so you know I went all the stores here and the taste of the food were pretty much the same. Even if there are raw goods, none of us can cook"
That was a lie. I lived alone. Out of boredom, I learned how to cook into intermediate class. It just that I don't have the energy to do so.
"Fine!"
Knock! Knock! Knock!
I open the door after confirming the number of people outside. There were two.
A guy who seems to be a knight and a girl who seems to be a mage.
"Yes, anything I can help with?"
"Can we please come in? We have something to talk about with you." The guy said.
I signaled the two to prepare for combat then let the two in.
Our room have three beds, we each have one.
Nunu move to Zel's bed and I sit down on my bed. While the two sat down on Nunu's bed.
After glancing all over the room they kneel in front of me.
"We are from the church. And we bow down to the hero chosen by the Gods and Goddesses"
They said in unison.
