After Hawaii left Amiya's home, Nina was on the couch with Amiya. She was devastated and not likely in the mood for anything. Antonio had threaten the very exact thing that she had suffered all the centuries to get, and that is Alice.
"Who's this man?" Amiya asked, she was still eager to find out the truth.
"He was my fiancé, in Ancient Rome. He is the one who turned me"
"Did you two fight or?"
"Worse! I engineered a plan to kill him but it failed and since then I've been running and running away from him. He's a psychotic killer Amiya. With no remorse or feelings"
"How did he find you? Why is he here...?"
Nina sat on the couch against Amiya, and it was like she was remembering something. A certain situation which could have led for Antonio to find him, but she didn't remember anything.
"It's time for us to leave! Hawaii and I"
"You can stay, I won't allow him to kill you" Amiya reassured her.
"He owns the witches Miya. I'm sure he has a coven of witches right now, or werewolves who all heed to his needs. They will hunt me down and kill me" Nina said and got up.
Hawaii came back with a red bag which had black stripes. He threw it to Nina and she opened it, inside there was three hundred thousand dollars.
"Pack up! We leaving" He said.
"Where will you go? Aren't you all tired of running?" Amiya asked, she was so against her friends leaving even though they had their differences.
"You don't know him Miya" Hawaii shouted "You know nothing of him! He will kill you all, and me and Nina and everyone associated with us. He burned down an entire church with old people and infants, in 1720 just looking for us. He has no soul and he's a definition of devil himself" He finished.
Nina knew what was in store of them, and what happened when Antonio paid them a visit in 1815 and she almost lost Hawaii in the process because she didn't want to leave, so she knew better than to stand and fight.
"When Alice wake up, tell her we'll come back" She said to Amiya.
"Nina...we don't have much time" Said Hawaii.
"I know, I just have to..."
She didn't even finish her sentence and the whole household felt like it was moving. Hawaii quickly barged out and managed to escape, Nina tried it but she was too late and the spell had been casted. A trap seal where no vampire could get out.
They didn't see who casted it but only heard some indistinguishable chattering. "Amiya what's going on...?" Nina asked out of fear, she had been found by Antonio.
"I don't know" said Amiya and then she fainted.
"Miya! Miya...come on wake up!"
Antonio's voice came up "Don't bother, she's been put to sleep"
Nina turned her face and she came up face to face with Antonio. After what felt like nine hundred years ago, finally they had stood face to face. She was trembling hard and all those lies and betrayal she did to him came pouring down on her like a throwback film.
"Hello Ninarivera. Long time no see mi amore..." He said with a smile, Nina tried to escape again but this time she was caught by him. Antonio inserted his right arm deep inside Nina's heart and she knew she was going to be dead in seconds.
Her eyes were trembling with fear. And he loved it, he loved how she was so afraid of dying knowing he had all the power in the world at that time.
"Don't be afraid Ninarivera..." He said charmingly.
"Kill me..."
"Kill you? You mean grant you mercy? After all these centuries of running and running, you think I would want to see you dead?" Said Antonio and chucked softly.
He then removed his arm inside Nina's heart by force to the point Nina gasped loudly and she couldn't believe her heart was still intact. She sighed and looked at her right side, Amiya was awake and they gave each other signals.
While Antonio was shouting and cursing, Amiya was actually performing a spell to drop the seal. It was her against her granny's coven of witches which had aligned with Antonio to help him take out Nazar with an exchange of Nina's whereabouts.
Gladys sacrificed Nina's life to Antonio and she was the one who drew Antonio to town. And they were all following Lunara's wishes of not waking up Nazar. Amiya was very powerful however, she overcame the coven for a second and alerted her friend.
"Run..." screamed Amiya. In seconds Nina vanished and got out of the house. Antonio grunted and bit his jaws, he looked at Amiya who was still down.
"Witch! What did you do?"
"Your coven isn't as strong. Perhaps you've made pact with the weaker ones" said Amiya.
Antonia reached out to her, picked her up and then he threw with force, she fell on a chair and broke it. Her magic didn't work on Antonio, every spell she chanted bounced back and he was determined to kill her.
He constantly threw her all over the house, on the table, on the tv, bouncing her on a wall and he didn't care that she was bleeding. "I'm going to enjoy this witch" he said and picked up the broken chair, taking out a piece of wood stake and moved close to Amiya who was retreating to the kitchen with a broken nose which was bleeding.
"Nowhere to run princess, your vampire friends have abandoned you" he said and just when he raised the stake to stab Amiya. The stake suddenly caught fire and he tossed it away. He looked back and saw the coven standing on the doorway, they weren't very happy about what Antonio just did.
"Not my granddaughter! That's not our agreement" Said Gladys.
"Then where is the agreement that you promised me?"
"You had her in the palm of your hands. Perhaps you don't hate her as much as you thought" said Gladys and she disappeared along with the coven.
Antonio looked at Amiya on the floor bleeding and almost look like she's about to pass out. And then he vanished.

After they just had a very expensive and lavishing marriage in all of Rome. Antonio and Nina became very famous, they were invited to different soirées and given gifts. Gifts of gold, horses, fabrics, brooches and some even offered to spend a night with them.
On one particular night, Nina came to contact with Hawaii in 1150 AD and she took one look at him and became totally flattered. He was among the slaves of Antonio who guarded his safe room where no one was to enter except himself. Every single time Antonio left for his business she summoned him in her room.
Not to have sexual contact but just for mere talking. Hawaii was called Julian at that time, he was kind and charming. Nina found a bit of sparkle of friendship in him but Antonio felt betrayed by their friendship. He forbid it "I don't want a slave anywhere near my wife!" and the next day he sent Julian to war between his house and other house which had dared challenge him.
Nina was against it, Hawaii was human at that time whilst all of Antonio's men were vampires who couldn't be killed. It was a suicide mission and Antonio sent him there to die. Nina fought against that, and she took herself to that war where he found Hawaii unconscious and wounded. That's where she turned him into a vampire and Antonio found that out, she never returned back to his castle and it was the start of her running from him for all the years.
Consumed with anger, jealousy and in constant need of revenge Antonio made chasing Nina and Julian as his life's work. He came very close in 1815, in a salon where Nina was having good time with Hawaii.
They were dancing and drinking wine in a soirée which was thrown by a rich man in whole of Bulgaria. It was a huge gathering of all those noble respected men and women, and Nina was among them. They owned a plantation house which they had kept indentured servants and they grew wheat and rice. The soirée turned into a blood bath as soon as Antonio arrived with this gladiators.
They killed everyone at the gathering, Nina didn't want to leave. She was tired of running and she was ready to face him.
"We have to go Nina we've been found" said Hawaii while they were outside of the house where the soirée took place. It was crowded and everyone was running from the destruction that Antonio was doing.
"I don't want to run anymore...I'm tired"
"You want him to kill you! Look Nina the whole house is on fire. We should go!"
When Antonio came out, he was in his 18th century suit and a yellow scarf he looked around and saw Nina with Hawaii from a distance. Nina never knew how fearful she was until she laid eyes upon that man again, he threw a stake at Hawaii and it almost killed him. Then she knew she needed to run, not for herself but also for Hawaii's sake.

They were on a car, Nina's eyes were on the road while Hawaii was driving. She was tired and nearly came face to face with death. Antonio had shown her what he was capable of, that he could at any time stop her dreams altogether. Her eyes were watering and on the verge of crying.
"Please don't cry on my car. It's very expensive" He joked with a smile and Nina looked at him sarcastically.
"How much?"
"It's a Ferrari! You know the price"
"I'm sure you compelled the whole yard to give it to you for free"
"Of course, that's the advantage of being a vampire. Well...check out on the back seat"
"What is it?"
"Just look!"
Nina took a look back and found two bags of blood. She took one and handled the other to Hawaii who drank it with a straw. "We are going to need to need all the energy we can get for who we are going to meet. Drink it all"
"Who are we meeting again?" She asked.
"My ex"
"Your ex?" She asked again, and it's obvious she didn't expect that.
"Yes"
"Do you have any ex who isn't Alice?"
"She comes and goes after every hundred years. What am I supposed to do in the mean time? Become a celibate like you, no Ma'am!"
"I'm not a celibate"
"Whatever, she's a witch. I met her in 1920s, in the city of jazz, music, whores and magic..." he whispered the word magic and blinked at Nina.
"I was there remember...are we going to Chicago to see her?"
"Voila! Now tighten your seat belts ma'am it's going to be a ride"
Nina smiled looking at how crazy her best friend was and she admitted at that moment that he was worth the sacrifice she made centuries ago. No one looks out and cares after her like Hawaii, he was a rock she could always hang on to.
