The house which was burned down by Antonio held more of different stories which had circulated for over two hundred years ─ it was also very important to him because that's when he and the woman he loved at that time lived. Her name was Karta, and she was a Latin beautiful woman who was a witch ─ during those moments where Warlington reeked of blood, magic and death.
The town was filled by supernatural only who terrorized it and caused humans to flee, the vampires were reckless and would kill anyone and anything that moved. After humans fled ─ came scarcity of blood among themselves, there was no more humans to feed to and that's when Karta created a powerful seal which kept them in town but turned them against each other. They had to feed on vampire's blood to survive ─ but she made sure to escape with Antonio before the chaos.
