It contained tricks necessarily tricks of magic which involved resurrection of either things or even bringing back the dead to life. Unlike other magic spells which had loopholes and consequences especially if one taps into dark magic, Gilbert's tricks had no consequences and there was no dark magic but just simply the way of controlling the mind.
