Chereads / Annie Grey / Chapter 579 - You noticed

Chapter 579 - You noticed

The next day.

The rain was pouring down heavily outside as great sounds of thunder followed along with lightning as the rain continued to be heavy with no signs of stopping at all.

"*Ugh* I hate the rain" said Maddie as she groaned and Annie looked at her.

"I thought you loved the rain" said Annie as she laughed.

"Not anymore I don't, I hate it, hearing the rain brings back bad memories from Caligo, being stuck inside the whole day since the rain decided not to stop" said Maddie as Annie laughed at her.

"Oh Maddie, I think that you are just overreacting, as for me, I love the rain, because when it finally stops, everywhere is going to be nice and cool" said Annie as she smiled.

"That's only for you Annie, as for me, I don't want mud everywhere, I prefer the heat, and I am sure that Matt will agree with me" said Maddie.

"Matt will only agree with you because hearing the rain gives him headaches, that's why he casted sound barrier spell on his room and refuses to come out of it till the rain stops" said Annie as she laughed.

"Poor Matt, but yes, he agrees with me, the rain is horrible" said Maddie.

"It makes my hair all frizzy and everything" said Maddie as Annie just laughed.

"You are just overreacting Maddie, really, you aren't even outside" said Annie as she laughed.

"Well, let me just tell you to blame Curtis for my hate of the rain, oh and also blame Caligo, I hated being on that mountain" said Maddie.

"Oh you know that you loved it Maddie" said Annie as she laughed.

"You loved learning how to use a sword" said Annie.

"Oh I cannot lie about that Annie, it makes me feel so powerful" said Maddie with a grin as Annie laughed and she shook her head.

"Anyway Maddie, I will be back soon, my mom is calling me" said Annie as she stood up.

"You want me to come with you?" asked Maddie with a smile.

"No she wants me to help her outside, and you don't like that it's raining outside" said Annie with a smile.

"Good point, good point" said Maddie.

"Well have fun" said Maddie with a smile.

"I will, I will" said Annie as she laughed and she walked out of the room as Maddie sighed, she was bored to say the least.

"Hi Maddie" said Ollie with a smile as he walked into the room and Maddie looked at him.

"What the heck are you doing here?" asked Maddie as she frowned.

"Well I was looking for Annie, and yet I found you" said Ollie with a smile.

"Well she is not here, so leave" said Maddie in an annoyed tone as Ollie just smiled and sat down on the couch as Maddie scoffed.

"You just derive fun from annoying me don't you?" asked Maddie with a frown.

"And you derive fun from hating me" replied Ollie with a smile as Maddie scoffed.

"Actually Maddie, today is a nice day, I don't think that we should be on each other's necks" said Ollie.

"You may think so, but I don't every day is a good day to hate you" said Maddie with a smile.

"Seriously Maddie?" asked Ollie in disbelief as Maddie just smiled at him.

"Anyway, I have something important to talk to you about Maddie" said Ollie.

"Whenever you say something important, I don't believe you, you think that quite a lot of things are important" said Maddie.

"You should know that what is important to you is not important to me blondie" said Maddie.

"I am just going to get straight to the point Maddie, because obviously you are not in a mood to talk to me" said Ollie.

"Oh I am so glad that you noticed" said Maddie with a smile.

"Maddie, have you ever thought about Azazel?" asked Ollie.

"Blondie, be specific, I don't get what you mean, of course I think about him" replied Maddie.

"I mean, have you ever considered reconciling with him the same way you did with your mom?" asked Ollie as he just needed to know he had this question on his mind for a long time, but he realized that he had put it the wrong way when the look on Maddie's face changed from an annoyed one to an angry one.

"What are you trying to say blondie?" asked Maddie in an angry tone as she frowned.

"I realize now that I said it in the wrong way, let me repeat it differently" said Ollie.

"Yes please do" said Maddie as she really wanted to know what he meant.

"I mean, when you think of Azazel what do you feel?" asked Ollie.

"Hate, anger, worry, wrath, injustice, wickedness" said Maddie.

"No love?" asked Ollie.

"What kind of stupid question is that?" asked Maddie in anger as she stood up, she was not going to take any of this nonsense.

"Maddie I am sorry that you are offended but I just need an answer to that question" said Ollie as he stood up as well.

"Well you stupid blondie, the answer is no, of course not, that man is wicked, he is wile, he is an example of a tyrant, a person that deserves not to exist.

"What's going on here?" asked Matt as he walked into the room.

"This blondie decided to be more annoying than ever today, and ask me irrelevant questions" said Maddie as she looked at Matt.

"Ollie, is that true?" asked Matt as he looked at Ollie.

"I only want to know her thoughts about Azazel" said Ollie.

"And why?? Why all of a sudden?" asked Maddie.

"Because he's your father" said Ollie.

"I told you several times blondie, don't call that man my father, I have no father, we are not related at all!!" said Maddie.

"You may say so, but the only reason you are alive and didn't get wiped out of existence is because you have his blood flowing through your veins" said Ollie.

"Are you trying to call me a traitor?" asked Maddie.

"I never said that Maddie, stop putting words in my mouth" said Ollie as Annie walked into the room.

"What's going on, why are you both arguing?" asked Annie in confusion as he could hear the sound of their arguing from outside the room and the lighting and thunder sounds outside did not make it sound any prettier.

"You don't know anything, that man is not my father, if I am unfortunately his daughter, that does not mean anything, I don't want anything to do with him" said Maddie.

"You don't know if he wants that for you, you are his daughter after all" said Ollie.

"We have no relationship, and if you think for a second that after everything, after all I have been through that I can ever go back and be a puppet to that man, then you are sorely mistaken Prince Oliver" said Maddie in anger.

"I am no traitor, I know when my loyalty lies, and it's with Annie, if you want to join everyone else and condemn me, then you are allowed to do so, but I am not going to stay here, and receive such insults from you" said Maddie as she scoffed and proceeded to walk away as Ollie grabbed her hand.

"Maddie I never said that, I know that you are not a traitor" said Ollie as Maddie pulled her hand out of his grip as she walked away angrily.

"Maddie" called Annie as Maddie ignored her and left the room.

"Ollie why did you say that to her? You hurt her" said Annie as she looked at Ollie.

"Look Annie, It's not like I don't trust Maddie, I do, it's just Azazel I don't trust" said Ollie as he sighed and looked at Ollie.

"What did you do?" asked Matt as he looked at Ollie.

"Maddie can't be left alone when she's angry like that, we need to keep an eye on her" said Ollie.

"Ollie, you are making no sense, is there something that I should know?" asked Annie.

"Look Annie, I don't trust Azazel, Maddie might want nothing to do with him, but that might not be the case for Azazel" said Ollie.

"I know one thing for sure, and that is that Parents always want their children to be on their side, always" said Ollie.

"But Maddie isn't like that, she would never go to his side, not after everything we've been through" said Matt.

"Matt is telling the truth, I can trust Maddie with my life, she would never go back to him" said Annie.

"I know she won't, but do you think that Azazel will take the betrayal of his daughter just like that?" asked Ollie.

"I just want us to be careful and watch out, and I need Maddie to realize that no matter how many times she denounces him as her father, he is still her father" said Ollie with a serious expression on his face as Annie sighed.
