"Just who does that blondie think he is?!" asked Maddie in anger as she slammed the door to the library as she entered in a hurry.
"He thinks that he can just come here, and ask me all these stupid questions, wanting me to just sit there and answer??!" said Maddie to herself.
"Why can't he just get it into his big head that I have nothing, and I mean nothing to do with Azazel!" said Maddie in anger as she was heaving, she was fuming, she could not remember the last time that she had ever been this angry.
"And Matt and Annie just stood there, listening to him, I bet that he's convincing them that he is right, right now" said Maddie as she ran her fingers through her hair, she was just so angry right now that she felt like her skin was boiling.
"Alright Maddie, calm down, calm down, it's not worth it… clear your mind…" said Maddie to herself as she sighed, all this was just too much for her.
Sure, she could be called many things, but a traitor was not one of them, she would never betray her friends, the only person she betrayed was Azazel, and that was because she knew that he was in the wrong, and she did not want to be on the bad side, she wanted to be on the good side, and she was now on it, there was no turning back for her, never.
So for Ollie to start bringing up the matter of reconciling with Azazel, it just made Maddie so furious, because he was indirectly saying that he didn't trust her, and if he thought that way, then many other people just like him thought that way as well.
"Clear your mind Maddie, that blondie is an idiot, you shouldn't let his stupid words get to you" said Maddie as she was trying to make herself calm down.
"Remember what Aunt Stella says, an angry mind, is a feeble one" said Maddie to herself as she took deep breaths.
She didn't want to let her emotions get the better of her, last time that happened, Azazel was able to take control of her, and she had tried and trained so hard with Aunt Stella to strengthen her mind, so she was not going to throw all that hard work away just because of Ollie.
"It's just not fair…" said Maddie to herself as she sighed, she walked to the library door as she turned the knob and locked it from the inside, she did not want Annie or Matt coming in here, she wanted to be alone for a while.
Maddie sighed as she shook her head, she was still boiling, she needed some fresh air to cool off.
Maddie walked to the large window in the library as she opened it and felt the cool rainy wind blow on her face, it was almost enough to make her cool down completely, but not yet though.
Maddie sighed as she reached her hand outside the window and felt the raindrops on her palm, the sky was dark, and it continued to rain.
In reality, Maddie was not even angry anymore, her heart felt like the rain outside, sad and gloomy, you think that she didn't know that people didn't trust her? They believed that she was a traitor who could switch sides at any time.
If anyone knew who she really was, they always looked at her in a different way, that was why she didn't like the King and Queen, they saw her just like that, she thought that Ollie was different, but who was she fooling, he was the Prince, of course he thought the same way his parents did.
Maddie left the window open as she walked to the couch and she sat down on the couch and brought a book to herself.
"What better way to calm your emotions down, but by reading a boring book" said Maddie to herself as she looked at the title of the book and it was about the different woods of the witch realm.
Maddie opened the book as she sighed, she was not going to let anyone make her feel this way again.
…
"Alright, that's it, I am going to look for Maddie, she has been gone for too long" said Annie as she stood up and large thundering crash was heard coming from outside.
"She couldn't have gone outside it's a storm out there" said Ollie as Matt removed his earmuffs as he heard the crashing thunder come again.
"It's thundering way too much, Maddie hates to hear the thunder, we should go look for her, I am sure that she had calmed down by now" said Matt as he stood up.
"Matt you can stay here, I can go look for her" said Annie.
"No, no, I will go too" said Matt.
"But your ears" said Matt.
"It doesn't matter, Maddie needs us right now, I am sure of it" said Matt as they had been waiting for Maddie to come back for the last two hours, but she hadn't showed up, and now it was very dark and they were starting to get worried.
"I know she does, but the it's storming outside, and your ears are sensitive" said Annie.
"Here, give me those" said Ollie as he pointed to Matt's earmuffs and Matt handed them to Ollie as Ollie casted a spell.
"Here, now they will cancel out the rain noises but you will still be able to hear everything that's going on" said Ollie as he handed Matt back his earmuffs.
"Thanks Dude" said Matt with a smile as he put them on.
"You are welcome, I am coming to, I am the reason that she is upset, I need to apologize to her" said Ollie as he stood up.
"Alright should we split up or not?" asked Matt.
"Maybe we should" said Ollie.
"After all, due to security reasons, we can't use a searching spell in the house since an alarm will go off" said Ollie.
"Alright, I will go left, Matt you go right, and Ollie you go straight ahead" said Annie as Ollie and Matt nodded as they left the room and split up.
…
Maddie yawned as she looked up from the book and looked out the window as it was still raining and the sky had turned dark, she had not even noticed that it was already late.
She was sure that she had been alone in here for over an hour.
"That seemed to do the trick" said Maddie to herself as if anything, she was no longer angry or sad, just a bit bored and sleepy.
Maddie heard the loud crash of the thunder as she shuddered, she hated the sound of the thunder so much, it never gave a warning before it struck.
The wind blew in through the open window as Maddie was cold, she stood up from the couch and she closed the window and went back to sit down when she heard what looking like a branch of a tree falling and then she felt wind again and suddenly felt cold as she looked up and saw that the window was open.
"Didn't I just close that?" asked Maddie to herself as she rubbed her eyes.
"Or maybe I didn't" said Maddie as she yawned, she was probably tired that she thought she closed the window.
Maddie got up, she walked to the window and closed it as she went back to sit down, and still yet, she felt cold as she looked up and saw the window open… again!!
"No way, what the heck is going on, I closed It" said Maddie in confusion.
"Oh heck no, are you an enchanted window or something?" asked Maddie as she stood up closed the window and stood there for a while as nothing happened, but just as she was about to sit down, the window opened violently as the rain drops came in through it.
"That's it, I am not doing this" said Maddie as she walked to the window and she closed it violently as she heard the sound of glass being shattered but the window was still intact, Maddie looked around in confusion, nothing was making any sense right now.
Maddie sighed as she suddenly felt cold, but the window was definitely locked this time, but Maddie knew that this wasn't normal.
She suddenly heard a crashing sound coming from behind her as warning bells in her head told her not to even dare look back.
Maddie felt a shiver run down her spine when she heard a chilling voice that she hated with passion call her name.
"Maddison" came Azazel's heart stopping voice as Maddie shivered and she refused to dare looked back as she was sure that this was not real, this was all a dream, a horrible nightmare that she needed to wake up from now, right this second.
