Annie looked at Ollie, she could tell that it he was really upset about this, and he was right, he had every right to be worried, this seemed to affect him more than them.
Annie stood up as Maddie shot her a look that read that she should not dare do anything and just leave Ollie alone, but Annie ignored Maddie as she walked to Ollie and Maddie sighed.
"Ollie, I know how it feels to be treated like a child and left out of important matters, believe me" said Annie.
"But I also know that nothing good will come out of getting this worked up" said Annie.
"I know how much you care for your realm, and I am sure that no matter what, you will make a great King" said Annie as she put her hand on Ollie's shoulder as he looked at her.
"But don't let this beat you down, everything can always be fixed, so stop being upset please" said Annie.
"Azazel isn't only your problem Ollie, he's our problem" said Matt.
"Yes Matt is right Ollie, we are in this together, so don't worry about it too much" said Annie.
"And go back to the nice, sweet, easy going Ollie that we all know and love" said Annie as she smiled.
"Speak for yourself Annie" said Maddie as Annie shook her head.
"You are right Annie… I just got so upset… thank you" said Ollie as he smiled.
"You are welcome, what are friends for?" asked Annie with a smile.
"You are right, what are friends for" said Ollie as he smiled and Annie smiled at him.
"But seriously, you guys can't tell me that this news about Azazel doesn't actually bother you" said Ollie as he sat down next to Matt as Annie sat down besides Maddie.
"Well it doesn't bother me per se, what bothers me is what Aunt Stella, Curtis and the others are planning" said Maddie.
"I agree, I mean we don't know what they are planning, and we also do not know what Azazel is planning after the attack" said Annie.
"I feel like after what happened last time, this time Azazel won't play around, he might do his worst" said Matt as Annie took a deep breath, they all knew what the worst was, and they did not need to outrightly state what it was.
"He will definitely do his worst, after all that man is brainwashed by his lover Selene, not like he was any better before" said Maddie as everyone looked at her.
"Maddie, aren't you worried?" asked Ollie as Maddie laughed.
"Being worried is the last thing on my mind" said Maddie.
"Instead of being worried, what you should be thinking is how we are going to defeat Azazel once and for all this time" said Maddie.
"It's going to be the other way around this time Annie, make sure he won't dare recover Annie" said Maddie as she looked at Annie.
"You are right Maddie, it is going to be different this time" said Annie as she nodded.
"I am going to make sure to protect myself, and Curtis, and you guys, I am not going to fail this time" said Annie as she was sure about that.
"You know that you are not alone Annie" said Matt.
"I know Matt" said Annie as she smiled.
"If I am being honest, the best course of action would be to set a trap for Azazel on the day the decides to storm the Palace, the only problem is that we don't exactly know what day that would be" said Ollie.
"I don't know about that, but as for me, the best thing to do is to start training, we have rested enough" said Maddie.
"You are right about that Maddie" said Annie.
"I need to go now" said Ollie as he stood up.
"Where are you going dude?" asked Matt.
"I will be back soon" said Ollie as he walked out of the room.
"That blondie is letting this affect him way too much, geez" said Maddie as she scoffed.
"He cares, and he's right, he has every right to care" said Annie.
"Right, I don't think his parents the King and Queen would like that he cared so much" said Maddie.
"Enough about him Maddie, you said something about training?" asked Matt.
"Hehe, yes, I did, and I have some ideas, come on let go" said Maddie as she stood up and she pulled Annie's hand.
"Okay?" said Annie in confusion as Matt followed behind of them.
…
"And that concludes the daily report my King" said Professor Reagan as he was speaking to Albert in his office.
"Thank you Professor" said Albert.
"Well this is how things are going to be done with the lockdown that the Chancellor put on the Palace for apparently no valid reason" said Professor Reagan.
"Hmm" replied Albert as he heard a voice in his head.
"What is it?" asked Albert.
"My King, Prince Oliver is here to see you" said the man.
"I cannot see him right now, I am in an important meeting, tell him that we will speak later" said Albert.
"Yes my King" said the man as Albert went back to listening to Professor Reagan as suddenly the door to his office opened without warning.
"I apologize for barging in, but I really need to speak to you father, it is urgent" said Ollie as Albert looked at him.
"Oh Prince Oliver, good afternoon" said Professor Reagan with a smile.
"Good afternoon Professor Reagan, can you please excuse my father and I? We need to speak about something very important" said Ollie.
"Sure, sure, whatever you say Prince Oliver, my King, I will continue this later" said Professor Reagan with a smile as he stood up and walked out of the office leaving Ollie and Albert alone.
"Weren't you told that I was busy Oliver?" asked Albert.
"I was father, but this cannot wait, we need to speak right now" said Ollie as Albert sighed.
"Out with it Oliver, I don't have time for this, I am very busy today of all days" said Albert.
"Father, what do you know about Azazel? And I mean till date" said Ollie as Albert just looked at him.
"What did you find out?" asked Albert as he knew his son, he must have found out something for him to come here and ask him about it.
"I know that he is planning to strike the High Council in a month's time" said Ollie as Albert nodded.
"My question is, what do you plan to do about that Father?" asked Ollie.
"I do not know what you mean Oliver, what is there to do?" asked Albert as Ollie sighed.
"Of course, I should have known" said Ollie.
"Father, you have to do something, you are the King after all" said Ollie.
"Stella is handing it, I am sure that she will do what is best" said Albert.
"She only has so much power father, if you step in and show directly that you are not in support of Azazel, or you don't blame Annie things would turn out differently" said Ollie.
"Or so you believe, Oliver, I know things like these, and it Is best that we stay out of it" said Albert as Ollie could not believe this.
"Well that is wrong father, you know what I think?" asked Ollie.
"I don't care what you think Oliver, because this is not your problem" said Albert.
"I think that you are just being a coward, you don't want to be accused if anything bad happens, which it will, instead, you make Chancellor Stella take the fall for everything, that is cowardly father, you are the King" said Ollie.
"You will not speak to me like that Oliver, what do you know about cowardice? What do you know about running a kingdom? Nothing Oliver, nothing" said Albert as he stood up.
"You are right, I do not know, but my father told me that a King's greatest duty is to stay with his people and protect them" said Ollie.
"And that is exactly what I am doing Oliver" said Albert.
"No you aren't father, you aren't you are hiding away, what about Annie, what about Maddie, what about Matt? They are you people are well" said Ollie as he sighed.
"They are not my people" said Albert.
"They are part of the realm father, they are, you have to protect them like you would to anyone else" said Ollie.
"You talk about protecting them, I have done my best, I allowed them to stay in the Palace, I allowed Stella do as she wish with them" said Albert.
"That is not enough father, you need to show support for them, if you do that, then the rest of the witchfolk would get a good idea of who is the real enemy here" said Ollie.
"Hiding away and staying on the middle ground will only cause more harm than good" said Ollie.
"Enough!" said Albert as Ollie kept quiet.
"You have said enough Ollie, I do not want to hear a word about this again, stay out of it, in fact stay away from Annie, and those others, they are making you behave badly" said Albert as Ollie scoffed.
"I am doing this, because it is right" said Ollie.
"it is a shame that my own father who I look up to, would be a coward and hide away from the truth" said Ollie.
"I am not going to back down father, you can disown me if you want, but as Prince of the Witch realm, my support goes to Annie and the others, who are the true victims in this whole thing" said Ollie.
"I am leaving" said Ollie as he turned around but looked at his father again.
"I thought that we had gone past all the arguing, why not try to support me for once, this is important to me, so it should be important to you too" said Ollie as he walked away and Albert was furious as Ollie left his office.
"Ollie my boy" said Christina with a smile as she saw Ollie.
"Mother, you knew about it didn't you?" asked Ollie in anger as Christina looked at him in confusion.
"About what?" asked Christina.
"Do not pretend mother, I know you know, don't expect me to return for dinner, I am not going to stay in a castle with a father who does not value my opinion" said Ollie as he walked away and Christina sighed.
"Be safe Ollie" said Christina as she knew that she could not stop Ollie.
"I will be" replied Ollie plainly.
