Chereads / Annie Grey / Chapter 575 - Hidden this

Chapter 575 - Hidden this

Stella took a deep breath as she closed her eyes, she needed to be calm and work out everything that was going on right now.

Ollie did not force anyone to answer him, he just waited for Stella to relax first and answer him.

"Is it true?" asked Ollie once again.

"It is true Prince Oliver, Azazel will strike the Palace in a month, that was what Clove reported to me" said Stella as she sighed.

Now it all made sense to Ollie why Stella caused the sudden movement of everyone, he knew that something was up, and of course Azazel had something to do with it.

"Do Annie, Maddie, Matt and the others know?" asked Ollie as everyone else was quiet, and he knew what the answer to his question was from their silence.

"Do Annie, Maddie and Matt know?" asked Ollie once again as he looked at Curtis who was just as quiet as Sapiens and Captious.

"No, they do not know" replied Stella as she sighed and Ollie looked at Stella.

"And why not?" asked Ollie.

"For the sake of their own safety" said Curtis as Ollie looked at him.

"Well that is a lie, we all know that it is a lie" said Ollie.

"Prince Oliver, you have to understand that it is for their own safety" said Stella as Ollie looked at her.

"It is for their safety, it Is best that they do not know anything for their own wellbeing, Annie would not be able to keep her emotions in check, and Maddie will be greatly affected knowing this, and that is why we are not going to tell them anything" said Curtis.

"You all know that that is no a valid reason, it is unfair for you to hide something so important like this from them" said Ollie.

"They deserve to know what is actually going on" said Ollie.

"My Prince, you have to understand that we are doing this for their own good, we do not want them to get stressed" said Stella as she tried to explain.

"Chancellor, you should know that hiding something as serious as this has no valid excuse" said Ollie.

"And I am not only saying this because they are my friends, but because they truly deserve to know what's going on, it concerns them after all" said Ollie.

"Curtis, you should not have hidden this" said Ollie as he looked a Curtis, he was sure that Curtis was the one who suggested that they hide everything and not tell Annie, Maddie and Matt the truth.

"I am doing what is best" said Curtis.

"No you are not, hiding things from them is not what is best" said Ollie.

"What is best is for them to be ready, to know what's going on to be prepared to face anything that might happen, that's what's best" said Ollie.

"Hiding things and leaving them in the dark would do more harm than good" said Ollie.

"Prince Oliver, I assure you that this is what is best" said Stella.

"I beg to disagree Chancellor, I know I that I am supposed to remain objective in official matters like this, but I just cannot, I cannot see another side to this other than you and everyone else being unfair to them by hiding this from them" said Ollie as he sighed.

"Do my parents know about this?" asked Ollie as there was silence.

"Do the King and Queen know?" asked Ollie in a tone stating that he wanted no lies at all.

"Yes they know, they are well aware, and they agreed with our decision" said Sapiens as Ollie sighed.

"Of course they did, and by agree, you mean the my father the King wants nothing to do with this, he does not want any involvement in the case, and hence why he wants to keep this matter as far away from the High Council as possible" said Ollie as he knew what his father was capable of, especially when it came to Annie and things concerning her.

"Prince Oliver, do not blame your father for this, this was a joint decision that we all agreed on" said Stella.

"I am not going to blame anyone…" said Ollie.

"But I do tell you that you need to tell them the truth, and nothing but the truth" said Ollie as everyone was silent.

"If you don't tell them, then I will" said Ollie in all seriousness.

"Prince Oliver, this is something best kept quiet" said Stella.

"No it's not, and judging from your reply, you aren't going to tell them" said Ollie as he was irritated, he could not imagine having something this serious being hidden from him.

"Let him do it, let him tell them" said Curtis as everyone looked at him.

"After all, if he does tell me, he will be the one to have to answer to the King and Queen" said Curtis as Ollie looked at him and he looked at Ollie.

"I will do what I have to do to stop this unfair treatment" said Ollie.

"You all know that Annie, Maddie and Matt are not children, they deserve to know what's going on, It's a shame that you think you are protecting them, while you are actually harming them" said Ollie as Stella felt a prick in her heart.

"I will excuse myself now, and once again I apologize for overhearing your discussion" said Ollie as he turned around and walked out of the room.

"I cannot lie…he is right, we are being unfair… we should have told them from the beginning" said Stella as she sighed and Curtis just kept silent.

"Guys we need to talk" said Ollie as he walked into the lounge with a serious look on his face as Maddie, Annie and Matt looked at him.

"Hi dude" said Matt with a smile.

"Not now blondie, we were having a good time" said Maddie as she scoffed.

"Maddie, I'm not joking this time, it's something very serious" said Ollie as he sat down on the couch beside Matt as he looked very serious.

"What's wrong Ollie?" asked Annie in worry as she had never ever seen Ollie looking like this before.

"Oh Annie, don't mind him, he's just seeking attention" said Maddie.

"Maddie, just listen to me" said Ollie.

"I just overheard the Chancellor, Professor Sapiens, Professor Captious and Curtis" said Ollie.

"What were they talking about?" asked Matt as he figured that it had to be something very serious for the easy going Ollie to look like this.

"They said that Azazel would strike the High Council Palace in a month's time" said Ollie.

"And that's why they moved you all over here" said Ollie.

"I knew it, I knew, I called it didn't I" said Maddie.

"You did Maddie, you did" said Matt.

"It was anticipated" said Annie.

"Is that all you guys are going to say?" asked Ollie.

"Well yes there is nothing else to say" said Annie as she was used to this by now.

"Really?" asked Ollie.

"Well what do you want us to say blondie? It's nothing new that we are not used to, I don't know if you have noticed, but hiding things is the norm here" said Maddie.

"I have noticed, and that is just what makes me so upset, it's not fair for them to hide important things like this from you, it just makes me so angry" said Ollie.

"Chill blondie" said Maddie as she didn't understand why Ollie was getting so worked up over this.

"I can't chill, it's as if this is a joke to them, they treat you all like children, doesn't that annoy you?" asked Ollie.

"Well it does, but getting angry over it is not the best thing to do Ollie" said Annie as Ollie sighed and stood up.

"Dude, you really need to chill, if there's anything we know well at this point it's that the worst thing to ever do is be upset, it won't make you think correctly, you need to put all your emotions in check" said Matt as Ollie sighed.

"Look blondie, it's not like you were the one that things are being hid from, so I don't get your being upset" said Maddie as Ollie looked at her.

"That's because I hate injustice Maddie, I really hate it, and I hate it when people hide things" said Ollie.

"Well chill, because this has nothing to do with you anyway, it has something to do with Annie, and not you" said Maddie.

"You are wrong Maddie, it has something to do with me" said Ollie.

"I am going to be future king, and this is my realm, I care about my realm, the problems of my realm are my problem" said Ollie.

"And Azazel is a problem, which makes him my problem" said Ollie.

"I want to be involved, I want to do something to help everyone" said Ollie as he looked outside the window and he sighed as Annie, Maddie and Matt looked at each other.
