"You little evil, wicked…" said Armand as he rushed towards Annie, but he kept quiet when he saw that she was already seated in Stella's office, and of course he was not stupid to say anything against her while she was here, even though Stella was no where to be found.
"Go on" said Annie as she smiled and Armand frowned at her.
"You do know that the walls have ears" said Annie with a smile.
"You are evil" said Armand as Annie just smiled at him.
"Enjoy the little game that you have here, but in due time, I will expose you" said Armand in anger as he whispered.
"Well good luck with that, just don't end up exposing yourself" said Annie as she smiled and Armand felt like tearing that annoying smile on her face.
"You will pay for this!" said Armand as Annie just laughed at him and he walked away, he did not want Stella to appear and end up asking him why he was annoyed, and then he would have to explain to her what this so called niece of her did to him, and he knew that she would never believe him.
"Bye" said Annie with a smile as the door of Stella's office closed as Annie looked at her hands, she felt weird, seriously weird.
She didn't know that she could use her powers like that, the feeling was new, but a good kind of new, and she liked it.
Annie sighed as she looked up, and she did not notice that her eyes glowed purple for a split second before they went back to their normal green colour.
"Oh my dear, sorry for keeping you waiting, you know how hectic these meetings are" said Stella as she walked in from behind an open bookshelf and she sat down at her desk as she smiled at Annie.
"It's no worry Aunt Stella, I know" said Annie as she smiled.
"Well yes, anyway, how are you dear?" asked Stella with a smile.
"Good Aunt Stella, I was just surprised that Armand came to lead me over here" said Annie as Stella looked up in horror.
"He did?" asked Stella in surprise.
"Yes he did, and I was surprised to see him here" said Annie.
"Did he try to do anything to you again?" asked Stella.
"No, he didn't" said Annie as she shook her head.
"That's a relief dear, I don't know what he was doing with you, I sent Mira to come get you, and not him" said Stella.
"Give me a second dear, I need to find out what happened" said Stella as Annie nodded.
"Oh I see, so Armand sent Mira to the Cauldron HQ, and he instead came to get you, at least he didn't try anything funny?" asked Stella.
"No Aunt, he didn't" said Annie as she smiled, it was more like she did something funny with him, she didn't even remember casting a holding spell on him, it just happened out of like an instinct.
"That's good, or else, I would deal with him" said Stella.
"I think that I already dealt with him enough" said Annie.
"What was that dear?" asked Stella as she did not hear what Annie said clearly.
"I said, what did you want to talk to me about Aunt?" asked Annie with a smile.
"Oh well dear, it's something very serious if I am being honest" said Stella as she sighed.
"It's Azazel isn't it?" asked Annie as she did not sound surprised at all.
"You know already?" asked Stella.
"It's quite obvious Aunt, Maddie and I concluded that the only person you and Curtis are quiet about is Azazel" said Annie.
"And It would be stupid of me to assume that he's all gone and never to be seen again" said Annie as Stella knew that she was right.
"So what about Azazel Aunt?" asked Annie as she really just wanted to get this over with.
"Well my dear, It was a known fact that your last encounter with Azazel led him to be severely injured, and caused him to go into hiding with all his allies that we were unable to capture at Kadama" said Stella.
"But?" asked Annie as she knew that something was up.
"But, somewhere, somehow, there was a tampering, and we don't yet know how and where, but it has something to do with time, Curtis said that I shouldn't say anything until we have enough evidence, but I want you be aware" said Stella.
"Long story short, Azazel is back, and this time more powerful than ever, and we know this because we can sense it, we don't yet know where exactly he is since he is moving up and down, but he's alive, and for a man that was severely injured, his quick recovering is not to be expected, I mean last we knew, he was seriously weakened since he did not have your blood, so for him to miraculously be healed and well, it raises some suspicion of the tampering I was talking about" said Stella.
"I asked the Cauldron to be on a lookout, and I am sure that we will get something tangible very soon" said Stella.
"I see Aunt" said Annie as she sighed.
"Yes dear, so you know the rules no going out without telling me or Capi, or Sapiens first, and that goes for Maddie and Matt as well, I will speak to them both later, I wanted to speak to you first" said Stella as Annie nodded.
"Yes Aunt Stella" said Annie as she sighed.
"I am so sorry dear" said Stella as she knew that Annie was fed up.
"There is no need to be sorry Aunt, I should know by now how these things go" said Annie as Stella really did not want her to have to worry about things like this.
"I know that dear, but you shouldn't have to worry about things like this" said Stella as Annie just looked at her.
…
Annie was in the library, seated quietly, she wasn't reading neither was she moving, she was just thinking, while focused on a glass jar filled with water.
"Annie" called Maddie as she walked into the library to see Annie with an absent mind, focusing on the glass jar of water.
"Annie" called Maddie once again as she wondered what was wrong.
"Annie!" called Maddie when she saw that Annie wasn't responding to her at all.
"What??!" asked Annie as she snapped out of her thoughts and the glass jar shattered and water splashed everywhere as Annie blinked repeatedly.
"Annie, are you okay?" asked Maddie in worry as she looked at Annie who was blinking.
"I'm fine Maddie, what is it?" asked Annie.
"Well you looked like you were lost in your thoughts, and your magic went out of control and shattered the jar" said Maddie as she walked the glass pieces, and she undid what was done to the jar as she placed it back on the table and she sat down beside Annie.
"Oh I don't know, I didn't realize" said Annie.
"Are you okay Annie? Really, you seem lost" said Maddie.
"Maybe I am" said Annie as Maddie sighed.
"Is this about Azazel? Aunt Stella told Matt and I what is happening" said Maddie.
"Well yes, in a way, I guess it is about Azazel" said Annie.
"As if he's the final boss in the final level, who you think you have killed but suddenly get reenergised and starts the cycle all over again" said Annie in anger.
"Annie, I think that you should calm down, this is affecting you a lot, it shouldn't" said Maddie.
"So what if Azazel is back?, no problem, we will just change what we did last time and make sure to kill him for sure this time" said Maddie as Annie looked at her.
"It's not that easy Maddie" said Annie.
"Oh but it is Annie, don't think too much, it will only make you feel bad, come on, it's not worth it Annie, seriously" said Maddie as Annie sighed.
"You are right Maddie, I guess that I am just stressed, with Azazel coming back and everything else" said Annie.
"That man can come back as many times as he wants, but he should just know that he shouldn't expect to win this time" said Maddie as she smiled and Annie smiled.
"Come on, let's go, it's time for dinner, and your mom made that pasta that I like" said Maddie as Annie laughed.
"So you are a foodie now?" asked Annie as she laughed.
"Oh I always have been, my urges were just suppressed because I never got to eat food that I actually liked, and that was also delicious as well" said Maddie as she laughed and Annie laughed.
"Come on Annie, help me convince your mom to give me a taste of the chocolate cake batter" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Oh so you are using me now Maddie?" asked Annie as she laughed.
"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not" said Maddie as she laughed and Annie laughed as she shook her head and they walked out of the library together.
