Annie looked out the door, she could see the rain, it was raining heavily, Annie looked back at Curtis as he was quiet, she was sure that he was thinking.
"Curtis" called Annie as Curtis turned to look at her, she was indirectly asking him what they were going to do.
"I am sure that the rain will stop soon" said Curtis as in that same moment the sky thundered as Maddie shrieked, that caught her off guard.
"That doesn't sound like it would stop soon" said Alina as she smiled and Curtis looked at her, she was not helping at all.
Alina walked to look out the door as she put her hand out and she touched the rain, she had not felt rain in such a long time, it never rained here, and well now that It did, she wanted to go out and dance in the rain, but right now, she could tell that Curtis, Annie, Maddie, Matt and Ollie were all disappointed.
"Unfortunately," said Maddie under her breath as she shook her head, she was already ready to go, and now this, this was just great, so wonderful.
"There is no need to rush" said Ivor as he could sense the disappointment in the air, he did not know why their guests seemed to want to leave so bad.
"You all can stay here until the rain clears up" said Ivor as Alina walked back into the house as she dried her hands on her dress.
"Thank you for your offer" said Curtis as he smiled, well because it was not like they had any other choice.
It was raining heavily outside, and even if they were as stubborn enough as to go out in this rain, they would get nowhere far, and apart from that, they could risk Annie or any one of them getting sick.
"Don't mention it, please make yourself at home" said Ivor as he smiled.
"Alina, come and help me with something" said Ivor as he called for Alina.
"Yes Master" said Alina as she smiled and she followed after Ivor as he walked deeper into the house, she could not hide her happiness that they were going to stay.
"I guess that we are staying here" said Maddie.
"Looks like it" said Ollie as Maddie sighed.
"Well that's just great" said Maddie as she sighed.
"It seems that the odds are stacked against us" said Maddie as she shook her head.
"I am sure that the rain will stop soon, right Curtis?" asked Matt as he looked at Curtis.
"Yes, I am sure it will" said Curtis as he looked at Matt.
"But for now, we need to stay put, and just be careful" said Curtis.
"Well alright then" said Maddie as she walked back in the direction of the room Alina showed them yesterday.
Annie sighed as she followed after Maddie, just like Maddie, she was disappointed that they were not leaving.
…
"Master, what do you want to talk to me about?" asked Alina as she smiled and she placed a empty bowl on the ground as their roof was leaking, this was why Ivor never liked it when it rained, it was not an easy thing to fix roofs, or the house.
"Nothing much Alina, but tell me, do you know anything more about these people?" asked Ivor.
"Anything like what Master?" asked Alina as she turned to look at Ivor.
"Do you know where they come from? Especially Annie" said Ivor.
"Well no Master, I do not know anything like that at all, why do you ask Master?" asked Alina as Ivor seemed to be thinking.
"Well no reason Alina" said Ivor.
"But did you notice that ever since the conversation last night during dinner, there has been some tension, I really do not know what I said to cause such tension" said Ivor as he was thinking out loud.
"Well Master if you ask me, I think that your opinion on the Grey family is to biased" said Alina.
"You won't understand Alina" said Ivor as he did not blame her, she had never been down the mountain before, she did not know the true levity of what the Witch Realm was put though because of Azazel and the Greys.
"Well then Master, make me understand" said Alina.
"Not right now Alina, go keep our guests company" said Ivor.
"Oh well alright Master, but be careful not to trip, the roof is leaking, and we are running out of bowls" said Alina as Ivor walked around.
"Don't worry Alina, I will take care of the leaks" said Ivor, he would have to fix the roof once the rain stopped.
"Okay Master, your breakfast is in your room, I will see you later" said Alina as she smiled.
"See you later Alina, and be good" said Ivor.
"I am always good" said Alina as Ivor shook his head, he begged to differ.
"Oh, and remember your punishment, you are not allowed to touch a bow, not at all, not until I am sure that you have learnt your lesson" said Ivor.
"Oh alright Master, I won't, I give you my word" said Alina as she smiled.
"Mhmm" said Ivor as Alina walked out of the room, he did not trust her word, not at all, especially when she was fond of disobeying him.
…
"I am bored… when is the rain going to stop?" asked Maddie as she groaned and she looked up at the roof.
"I have no idea" said Annie as she also agreed with Maddie, this was taking way too long, too long for her liking, she wanted to leave already, so they could get this all over with.
"Hey Annie, hey Maddie" said Alina as she smiled and she walked into their room.
"Hi" said Annie as she smiled.
"Mhmm" said Maddie as she just grunted.
"What's wrong?" asked Alina as she smiled.
"I'm bored" said Maddie.
"I don't blame you it's easy to get very bored here" said Alina as she laughed.
"Hey, do you want to go to the stables with me? I have some chores to do there, and it would be fun to have some company" said Alina as she smiled.
"Can we?" asked Annie.
"Of course you can, come on let's go" said Alina as she smiled.
"Wait, hold on, how exactly are we supposed to get to the stables in this rain?" asked Maddie as she could hear the heavy rain drops hitting on the roof violently.
"We run" said Alina as she laughed and Annie giggled.
"Wow, what a good idea, No, I don't want to get my hair wet" said Maddie as she shook her head.
"Then just cover your head with this" said Alina as she removed her own cloak and she gave it to Maddie.
"Hmm" said Maddie as she looked at the cloak.
"Alright then" said Maddie as right now, anywhere else would be better than inside this boring place.
"Come, on let's go" said Alina as she smiled and she walked out of the room as she walked to the front door and she opened the door, and without waiting at all, Alina ran as fast as she could.
"Hey, you didn't even wait for us" said Maddie as she shook her head, and Annie giggled.
"Come on Maddie, let's go" said Annie as she laughed and she followed after Alina as she ran, while Maddie just stood there questioning if she was just too much, or if Annie and Alina were just too simple.
Maddie quickly put on Alina's cloak as she closed the front door and she ran to the stables as Annie and Alina were already there, and they were busy laughing.
"You guys are wet" said Maddie as she removed Alina's cloak, it was cold out here, and it was still raining a lot.
"Well not too wet, besides, I little water never hurt anyone" said Alina as she giggled and she touched her hair, it was a little but damp, but she did not mind at all.
"No, but it does hurt my hair" said Maddi as she gave Alina back her cloak.
"Oh come on Maddie, I am sure that you are overreacting" said Annie as she laughed.
"That's easy for you to say Annie, you have short hair, and well Alina… she looks like she runs in the rain for fun" said Maddie.
"Well that's because I do, in fact, I feel like dancing in the rain right now" said Alina as she laughed.
"Would you join me?" asked Alina as she smiled and she looked at Maddie.
"Me?? No way, count me out, no" said Maddie as she shook her head and Alina turned to look at Annie while smiling.
"I really don't want to get wet… or cold" said Annie.
"Oh well, that's fine, I guess that you are right, I should really start on my chores now" said Alina as she laughed and Annie smiled at her.
