"What are you doing??" asked Maddie as she climbed into bed and she saw that Annie was wide awake, and she had a book of some sort in her hand.
"Nothing much, just writing" replied Annie as she kept her attention on the book.
"Writing what?" asked Maddie, as she had not seen Annie so focused on writing something for a long time now.
"Do you remember the diary that Curtis gave me for my birthday?" asked Annie as she looked up at Maddie.
"Mhmm, yes I do" said Maddie as she clearly remembered the purple diary Curtis got Annie for her birthday.
"Yes, so here it is" said Annie as she showed Maddie the diary.
"I have decided to update it, since it has been a long time that I wrote in it" said Annie as she moved the diary back and forth.
"Ahhh I see" said Maddie
"Lucky you" said Maddie
"You have a diary haha" said Maddie
"Haha, not really, I mean Curtis has wrote most of the things that have happened from when we first met and when he first appeared in my life" said Annie as she laughed.
"Curtis can be very sweet, when he wants to be" said Maddie as she laughed
"Hahah yes, he can" said Annie as she laughed too.
"I can still remember when I first met him like yesterday" said Annie
"I was so scared, to tell you the least, and everything was just crazy, and unbelievable, and I felt lie everything was a mess" said Annie as she laughed.
"Haha that sounds horrible" said Maddie
"Oh believe me it was" said Annie
"Imagine thinking that you were just a normal human all your life, and then bam this magical book comes along and tells you that you are from a long line of witches, and you have to fight this bad guy" said Annie as she laughed.
"I thought that I was crazy" said Annie
"But looking back now, I see how very far we have come" said Annie as she smiled.
"Awww" said Maddie
"Well I mean, for me, I was never confused or scared, I always knew that I was a witch, in fact I was trained like one" said Maddie as she laughed.
"And that is why you are so much better than me with spells" said Annie as she laughed.
"Oh you will get there soon, trust me" said Maddie as she laughed.
"it just takes lots and lots of practice" said Maddie
"Haha" laughed Annie.
"It is funny how we are all connected" said Annie
"For one, Matt our friend, he's half-vampire, half- witch" said Annie
"I remember when he told me, I laughed so hard, I thought he was joking, and that he was only pulling a prank on me" said Annie
"No because me too, when those other vampires attacked us on the way to my house, I was beyond shocked when Matt just suddenly went and punched a full grown vampire, because this was the first time I was even hearing that vampires were real" said Maddie
"Haha I remember that day, you were so confused" said Annie as she laughed.
"And with Curtis coming out of nowhere, and also trying to kill us with his horrible driving, that day was just wayyyy too much" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Our lives are very interesting, if you think about it" said Annie as she laughed, looking back at those times just made her realized how funny the situations they found themselves in were, I mean apart from almost being killed multiple times, it was actually very thrilling.
"Haha yes they are, but in a very dangerous way" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Speaking of diaries" said Annie as she changed the subject.
"Are you going to read your mom's diary? The one she left for you?" asked Annie and immediately the happy mood in their room changed, Annie knew that she should not have asked, but she just needed to know if Maddie had finally decided to be forgiving.
"Annie" said Maddie as she looked at Annie and sighed.
"I am not going to read it" said Maddie plainly.
"But why??" asked Annie
"Because I do not see any reason to" said Maddie as she was not ready to have another argument with Annie just because of the mother she had no love or respect for in the first place.
"Why not?" asked Annie
"Well she had already said all she wanted to say in that crystal shard message of hers" said Maddie
"And honestly, I do not want to know what she even thought of or even her so called reasons" said Maddie
"But—" said Annie
"But nothing Annie" said Maddie.
"I do not see the difference between me reading her diary of listening to her message" said Maddie
"But there is , a diary is more personal, her message was just more of a warning" said Annie
"Either way, I do not care at all" said Maddie
"I do not think that I would ever read her diary anyway" said Maddie
"Well okay then if you say so" said Annie as she did not want to argue any further, as it would just cause more problems for no reason.
"Yes and I do say so" said Maddie which made Annie sigh, Maddie could be very stubborn at times.
"Well anyway, I will let you get back to your writing'" said Maddie
"I am going to sleep, so Goodnight" said Maddie as she punched her pillow as if she was fluffing it.
"Goodnight" said Annie as she shook her head, her friend was very weird.

"Matt It seems that we have a problem" said Curtis
"What is it??" asked Matt as he turned to look at Curtis, but Curtis did not reply.
"Is it very serious??" asked Matt as he saw the serious look on Curtis' face, he wondered what could be so important that made him look like this.
"Yes it is" said Curtis
"What happened??" asked Matt.
"Matt it has come to my attention…" said Curtis as he dramatically paused.
"That you favour Maddie more than me" he said very seriously.
"What???" asked Matt as he was completely shocked, his jaw had dropped, and he had to make sure to pinch himself, so he was sure that this was the real Curtis.
"Umm Curtis?? Are you feeling okay??" asked Matt as he just had to ask, was Curtis jealous or what?
"What sort of question is that??" asked Curtis as he looked at Matt.
"Of course I am feeling okay, I should ask you that question" said Curtis.
"Okay okay" said Matt
"Back to my question, who's side are you on?? choose one now, because Maddie is always looking for recruits to get on her side." said Curtis
"I cannot believe this" said Matt as he sighed and face-palmed, Curtis was literally jealous of Maddie??? for what exactly??? this was unbelievable, the both of them were as childish as childish could be.
"Curtis you do know that I cannot choose sides right??" said Matt as he decided to be the bigger one here.
"You both are my friends" said Matt
"Besides me and Annie decide not to choose sides, because we all cannot act like children" said Matt
"If that happened, we would have destroyed each other by now" said Matt as he whispered to himself, but Curtis could hear him loud and clear.
"Besides Curtis, don't you think that you and Maddie get a little bit too carried away??" asked Matt
"I do not know what you are talking about" said Curtis
"Okay then, if you want to play that game" said Matt
"Anyway you have two choices, either you are on my team, or you go blindly to Maddie's team" said Curtis
"That is not fair Curtis, I do not have to choose between you and Maddie" said Matt
"Oh yes you do, don't you say that I am your friend?? and that we are close, then you have no reason not to be on my side" said Curtis as he looked very unbelievable right now.
"Yes, but you both are my friends" said Matt
"And also I do not have to answer to that so goodnight" said Matt as he dodged the question leaving Curtis looking like he was betrayed.
Meanwhile back in Azazel's camp
"What is taking him so long?" asked Bruce as he looked annoyed, he had been waiting here for Hunter for the past eight minutes and he still had not appeared
"Well Bruce, do not worry about him" said the rogue
"What do you mean?" asked Bruce.
"I am very sure that Hunter has gone and gotten himself a girlfriend" said the rogue
"What nonsense are you saying??" asked Bruce
"It is as if you have been spending too much time with Luk, because his gossiping attitude had rubbed off on you" said Bruce
"Bruce you are mean" said the rogue
"Believe me, I saw it with my own two very good eyes, Hunter was talking to a witch girl" said the rogue
