"You called for me?" asked Hunter as he finally appeared, he looked cold and like his time was being wasted.
"Well that is my cue to leave, see you Bruce" said the rogue as he left immediately he did not want to be caught in the middle of whatever fight these two were busy having.
Things had still not been resolved between them, and every single moment they were together, left an opportunity for a fight to break out between them, and to tell the truth, they were the strongest among all the other rogues, so it would be difficult for the other rogues to stop their fight.
"Where are you going??" asked Hunter as he caught the arm of the rogue who was running away, and he pinned him in his place.
"No where Hunter, I just have to go now, I have to switch night duty with Luk" said the rogue as he immediately thought of an excuse to leave, and he just happened to remember that he was on night watch today
"Okay then" said Hunter as he let go of his strong grip on the poor rogue, as he knew he could not lie on something as important as night watch.
"Yes yes, Thank you" said the rogue as he touch his now aching arm, if Hunter had done that to any normal witch or human, their arm would have been dislocated by now, he quickly decided to take his leave and get out of here.
The rogues had not yet received the orders of who their new boss and leader would be, but most of the rogues were sure that it would be between, Hunter and Bruce, they were the strongest after Liam, and with Liam gone now, the rogues needed a new leader to represent them, and fast.
"Why are you so quiet??" asked Hunter as he saw that Bruce had not said anything since he had got here.
"You called for me, what is it?" asked Hunter as he looked like he was being forced to be here, and he actually was, he was still angry at Bruce, and he had no intention whatsoever to forgive him anytime soon.
"What is this I am hearing about you with a witch girl?" asked Bruce as if he had the right to know.
"What is it to you?" asked Hunter as he looked annoyed.
"You are not my father, you do not need to know about everything that I do" replied Hunter very plainly.
"Hunter of course I am not, but we are all here together, who knows what the witch girl is capable of, you of all people know that we cannot trust these witches, they all have ulterior motives" said Bruce as in the end he just wanted to look out for Hunter and the rest of the rogues too, they could not risk loosing another on of them.
"She cannot do that" replied Hunter as he felt guilty deep inside, he was the one with ulterior motives, Nia was just his target and he needed her for his plan to work.
"How are you so sure?? don't let whatever the heck you see in her fool you, before you end up dead" said Bruce as he wanted to snap Hunter out of any delirious stupor that he was in.
Who was to say that the witch had not already charmed him into falling in love with her, because there was no reasonable reason in Bruce's thoughts that could explain this sudden interest that Hunter had in a girl, and not even any girl but a witch.
"Just who do you think you are for you to stick your nose into my business?" asked Hunter as he was fed up, and angry with Bruce's over intruding.
"I am your brother" said Bruce as all the rogues were as close as brothers
"Ha brothers?? You do not have the right to call yourself my brother" said Hunter as he scoffed, Bruce of all people did not have the right to call himself a brother to anyone but himself.
"You are not a brother to anyone but yourself, you are selfish, and you do not care for others" said Hunter as he looked angry.
"Shut up, before I shut you up" said Bruce as he was tired of this nonsense irresponsible behavior of this spoilt brat.
"No I will not shut up, you clearly proved who you truly cared for, when you refused to go out and help me save Liam" said Hunter as he was back to the main cause of their fight.
"You never know how people really are on the inside, until you see what they do when those who they care about are in trouble" said Hunter
"I trusted you, but I see that I was wrong to do so" said Hunter
"Who knows, maybe you even preferred that Liam died so you could take his place" said Hunter as he smiled mockingly at Bruce.
"That does it" said Bruce as he was overcome by his anger, and he did not waste a second, before he knew it, he gave Hunter a might punch, that would have sent him flying, if not that Bruce held his shoulder down.
Hunter closed his eyes, he felt the hot blow of the punch, but he knew that Bruce did not use the full force of his power in that punch, which meant that he did not want to actually hurt him.
"You have no right to say that to me" said Bruce angrily as he removed his fist from Hunter's face, that was barely bruised.
"What do you think of me??? you of all people should know that I had the uttermost respect for Liam, he was like a big brother to all of us" said Bruce as he stayed in the position of holding Hunter down, maybe this way what he was trying to tell him would enter his thick stubborn skull.
"If you think that I am capable of that, you must be the selfish and evil one to even think so far" said Bruce as his anger was not subsiding.
"Now listen and listen good" he said as he grabbed the collar of Hunter's shirt.
"If you ever and I mean every accuse me of something so vile again, I will kill you... and I mean it" said Bruce, and Hunter knew he did, he could see the seriousness in Bruce's eyes, like flames of fire, he knew that he had gone too far, but no matter what he said to himself, he could not just bring himself to forgiving Bruce for what happened to Liam.
"Hunter do you hear me?? I said that I will kill you" said Bruce as he shook Hunter collar, Bruce did this in all seriousness, he knew that by only being harsh would Hunter finally listen to him.
"And secondly" said Bruce
"End whatever nonsense you plan on doing with that witch girl" said Bruce
"Hunter I know you, I know that you have this crazy plan in you head, and I want to tell you right now, that if you dare go on with any insane plan you have, I will deal with you personally, do you hear me??" asked Bruce as he shook Hunter with violence.
Bruce knew Hunter would not do anything without a reason, and his sudden relationship with that witch girl would just cost him, he needed him to stop whatever crazy plan he had in his head.
"You know how dangerous these witches are" said Bruce
"We cannot afford to loose another one of us, and especially you, one of our strongest" said Bruce as he truly hoped what he was saying was resounding in Hunter's big head.
"I hope your quietness means that you are listening" said Bruce as he was calmer now.
"I tell you once again, put an end to whatever stupid plan you have made up in your head" said Bruce.
"Listen to me, I am sorry If I let you down" said Bruce
"I am truly sorry, but believe me when I say that I did not mean for that to happen, It pains me as much as it pains you" said Bruce as he looked to the side and Hunter looked down.
"And if this all still fails" said Bruce as he looked up back at Hunter.
"If I ever see you going on with that plan of yours" said Bruce as his tone went back to very calm and serious.
"I will not hesitate to send you back home, and I will make sure to report you to him" said Bruce as Hunter's eyes went wide and Bruce smiled within at Hunter's reaction, he knew that threatening to send him home would stop him.
Bruce decided that it would be best to send Hunter back home rather than him dying, this was all for his own well being.
"That is my final verdict and warning to you" said Bruce as he dropped Hunter straight to the ground.
"Think about it, change or don't change, just remember that if you continue on, your final destination is sealed" said Bruce as he walked away.
