"Please eat Milady, I brought you hot porridge, it should calm you, and it's a very light food" said Nia as she tried to get Clove to eat.
Clove had neither eaten or spoke for the past three days, she just looked lifeless, and Nia was worried that at this rate Clove would develop and ulcer or even worse.
"Please Milady, I beg you" said Nia as she put the bowl of porridge on the table, and she knelt down next to Clove.
"I beg you with all that I have, please eat Milady" said Nia as she was almost on the verge of tears, but she did not let a single one fall, because she knew that it was irritate her lady who always told her to be strong.
"Milady I don't want you to fall ill, it won't be good for you" said Nia
"Milady you are the nicest person that I have met, you have treated me like a friend, and I am forever indebted to you, it would break my heart if you died, I don't know what I would do" said Nia
"So please Milady I beg you, this is not doing you any good" said Nia as she pleaded with Clove.
Clove did not say anything, all she did was look at Nia with a unreadable expression, her eyes were puffy and red from all the crying and her hair was in a mess and she looked tired, Nia was sweet, but her emotions right now were sour.
Clove did not reply to Nia's hopeful gaze, she just looked back down and went back to sulking.
"Alright then Milady, if you want to grieve then we will grieve together" said Nia as she stayed in her kneeling position.
She was sure that Clove would not want her to suffer along with her, and she would eventually give in and eat.
Clove looked at Nia, she was sure that the girl would not suffer herself just because of her, but then she saw the serious nd determined look on her face, it almost made her smile, but not today.
Meanwhile outside Clove's tent, there was a commotion, there was news that Azazel was coming over here, and no one knew if it was true or not.
"Oh it's true alright" said a female Witch
"I just saw him, he's coming, I advise that we all leave this place, who knows what he's coming here for?" said the witch as she panicked.
"I agree with you, I am out of here" said another witch as they all ran and left to their tents like a plague was coming.
"What's all that noise outside?" thought Nia to herself as she was still kneeling down, her legs were already started to get tired, and she was sure that she would not be able to feel them soon.
She began to think about what could be going on outside that could cause such a commotion to distract herself from the pain she was starting to feel, both she and Clove were sitting in silence.
"Leave us" came Azazel's cold voice as he suddenly entered Clove's tent, and he looked around with narrow eyes
Nia was startled she jumped up in fright, when she heard Azazel sudden appear and speak, she was already paralyzed in fear, when she realized that all he had said was for her to leave.
Nia quickly composed herself and she bowed her head and said "Yes Master Azazel" she said as she quickly walked out, she hoped that Azazel would be able to cheer up Clove.
Clove just looked at Azazel and she looked back down, she was not in the mood to deal with him right now.
"Why waste your tears for an offspring that does not even acknowledge you" said Azazel coldly, with no trace of emotion or sympathy at all.
"You don't understand" came Clove's scratched voice.
"You never do" she said
"Of course I don't understand, because I do not waste my time on emotions such as this" said Azazel
"You don't know how it feels, you don't know, how it is for your own child to reject you, I'm her mother and she rejected me so easily without any remorse" said Clove as tears started to drop from her eyes once again.
"And it's all because of you" she said
"Clove I believe that it is your emotions talking right now, so I will leave you" said Azazel
"But before I go, answer me this" he said
"Why did you go and try to contact that girl in the first place?" asked Azazel and Clove froze in her place.
"Don't tell me you were trying to do what I think you were going to do" said Azazel, and in turn he received silence from Clove, he was right, she was going to do that.
"Clove I advice you not to dare do that again, you are my wife, and you are loyal to me alone, Am I clear" said Azazel but Clove kept quiet.
"Clove am I clear" said Azazel again.
"Yes, I won't" replied Clove.
"Good, now stop crying and eat, I don't want to hear about you misbehaving again" said Azazel as he walked away, leaving Clove all alone.
Meanwhile back at the camp
"Curtis I have been meaning to ask you, where did you get that catalyst last night and on such short notice?" asked Sapiens as he and Curtis were back in the lab, they had just finished collecting Matt's blood.
"The Catalyst is a human cell" replied Curtis so calmly.
"Where did you get a human cell so quickly?" asked Sapiens
"From Lisa, Annie's mother" said Curtis
"Don't worry I asked for her permission" said Curtis as he noticed the Strange look on Sapiens face.
"I see" said Sapiens
"So how have those who used the antidote recovered?" asked Curtis
"Well they are recovering well, they should be completely fine tomorrow, which is why I think that we need to quicken the healing time on this new batch" said Sapiens
"I agree let's get started then" said Curtis.
Meanwhile outside the Camp
"Curtis?? Curtis?? not now, oh please Curtis say something, can you hear me??" said Annie in her head as she ran as quickly as she could, she was trying to find her way back to the camp but it was like she got lost.
The reason Annie ran was because she was sure that she could not beat Armand, as far as she knew he was a highly trained Witch, and she was sure that he could kill her, and he was just playing for now.
Annie didn't know what to do, she was all on her own with Curtis not responding, she was sure that she only had a few minutes before Armand caught up to her.
"Come on think Annie" said Annie to herself, she had to stall just in time for help to arrive or at least for Curtis to answer her.
"You know you run fast" said Armand as he had already caught up to Annie
Annie was not going to run anymore, she would just waste more energy doing that, so she decided to turn around and face him.
That was until, the sky suddenly began dark and the weather changed in an instant, the former sunny sky was now cloudy, the sky was dark and fog began to set in Kadama.
That caught Armand off guard and also Annie, but she decided to run some more so she could think of a plan.
Just then balls of light started heading in her direction and they exploded when they touched the ground, Annie managed to dodge them but she was still running, she ran and took cover under a huge rocky boulder.
It was at this point that she realized that she would need to immobilize Armand, because that would be the only way that she would be able to survive and luckily for her the fog was working in her favour, Armand could not tell where she was, but she could hear his footsteps.
"Okay Annie, you know what you have to do" said Annie to herself.
Annie stood up, she saw that she was surrounded by many rocks, the Plain of Kadama was not called a plain because it was a plain, it was called that because it was desolate and nothing grew here, but there were many of rocks and small mountains.
"Armand I'm here, I give up, I don't want to run anymore" said Annie as she raised her hands in the air and came out of hiding.
"You are smart" came Armand's voice from a distance as he was walking towards her, the fog was still very thick.
Annie decided that she would have to lure Armand close to her so she would be able to see him and cast her spell in this fog.
"Don't worry I will make it very quick, so it's not painful, and know that I am doing this for the good of the realm" said Armand as he finally walked closer to Annie.
As soon as Armand was close in sight, Annie shouted "Levitatis" as loud as she could, and she moved a large boulder, in an instant Armand was now trapped under the heavy boulder and in that same moment the fog suddenly cleared up and the sky shined bright again.
"I should not have let down my guard round her, I was too cocky" said Armand to himself.
"Come on then finish me" said Armand
